*FIX* for 64bit Client loss of FPS

If you're using the 64 bit client and are getting 8 fps and such, Go to the eso64.exe right click it and "Run with graphics processor" and choose your actual GPU(mine is Nvidia) and not intel. Not doing this, it will default to Intel HD graphics for some strange reason.

Worked for me. Hope it works for everyone else.

Is that option available for you? Choosing the graphic processor?

What OS are you running to give you this option? I don't see it on Windows 7

Ya I dont even have that option. So its probably only for people with multiple GPUs.

GTX 750 but I don't have multiple GPUs so it might be because of that.

If you have Nvidia, Go to the Nvidia Control Panel, Click the desktop tab up top then choose the option to display on applications.

Many motherboards come with a built-in GPU these days.

Anyone who added an aftermarket GPU should double-check to make sure the game uses the correct GPU.

I also do not run nvidia. To answer the above question yes the only way you would see that is if you had multiple GPUs. We do not.

Welp, maybe go into your Nvidia Control panel > 3d Settings > Manage 3d Settings > Add the eso64.exe > Then go to #2 on the list (Says Select preferred Graphics processor for this program) Make sure it has Nvidia selected, not auto.

    Give that a shot.

You arent getting it. We dont have that problem because we dont have multiple gpus. Also dont have those options because again we dont have multiple gpus.

    Does Intel's integrated graphics count?

    How do you do that?

Also, does it help to dedicate one card to PhysX as opposed to selecting auto? Any other general tips for improving SLI?

Yes if its activated. My system doesnt have built in video. If its defaulting to that then ya its going to be butt slow.

Too your edit note, ESO does not use Phys-x So assigning a GPU to that would not help.

Generally, IMO.. Just leave the phys-X settings to auto. Otherwise, Messing with the SLI Rendering mode will sometime help your FPS. Specially if the game doesn't support SLI, you can force it and get sometype of gain out of it. As for ESO, Just OC your CPU for more performance... Guessing your GPU's are pretty good. ESO Is a extremely heavy on the CPU.

Im using 980Ti SLI and i tried AFR2 but the usage is just pathetic, the most i saw is 55% or so.
In another words on 64bit the performance of SLI=1 GPU for me, beside the fact the game runs much worse now than before.

We actually have a hotfix scheduled (likely for tomorrow) that will address a lot of the FPS issues you are running into for both the 32-bit and 64-bit clients.

So is better to use AFR2 or not? What gives the best performance overall, in your experience?

I didnt try yet other options, but without AFR2 sli not even working on 64.
