Yeah, my audio is weirdly broken. I have audio files cutting in and out, music tracks instantly switching from one to another (like a CD skipping mid-way and going right into the next track), and this weird sigh/hissing sound which plays every few seconds in Hew's Bane. Not to mention, on a GTX 980 Ti, I can't get more than about 40FPS on average and have incredible screen tearing. So even if they fix stuff or don't, they always launch too early...that's publishers for you...

Nobody else seems to have a problem as asking in /zone and guild chat nobody's reporting problems, but for it me's almost unplayable with audio because loud static keeps going through my headset, the sound of a creaking boat, other sound queues aren't playing until 10 seconds later or I have 2 or 3 music tracks cutting in and out of one another. All this.Yeah, my audio is weirdly broken. And the hissing sound is so f*cking annoying.

marketing folks will say otherwise
Yep. I think a lot of the changes have to do with pushing out updated/modified clients on top of the DLC so you get a ton of other problems layered on top of the DLC, and it makes the DLC look worse than it is. The DLC isn't bad. It's all client issues.dimensional wrote: »

Same as the old DLC.

So what you are saying is go play The Division for a month and then come back?

How can content be classed as finished if it's not optimized?
There's still quite a few broken game mechanics in ESO, some of which have been around since launch.dimensional wrote: »dimensional wrote: »

Because content = assets (art, music, models, writing, game mechanics) which are 100% finished. The client is not optimized, which is distinctly not content.
