Power Surge also nerfed ?

Been reading these days about surge and found out the nerf on Critical Surge (1 second cooldown). However I was pretty convinced the Power Surge, given that it gives only 40% crit heal, it's not nerfed. Quite strange to find out it actually is ; I didn't expect it. Is it really nerfed or the ZAM BuffDisplay is wrong ?
"Is it true her wounds healed on their own ? Yes" No s***, at 75% health regen penalty!

    On 1.6 PTS it originally had a 1 second cooldown, but it has been reduced down to 0.1 seconds by now.

    Well instant single target nukes work just fine with it, and if the fix actually works even on shields after the update. But you can forget "DoTs" and AoE.

    Damn if aoe that's steel tornado done for even more and 2 hander just doesn't cut it in groups. Oh well I shall still try it and see, fortunately I have plenty of other characters in case I need to shelve my stam sorc, though he is my favourite at the moment.

    Wait... what? Surge is getting nerfed to fail on AOE like Impulse and Tornado?

    I didn't think surge was getting changed and so should still proc once from aoe as on live (assuming 1+ Crist) and still won't work on DoTs.

    It SHOULD proc on any AoE, unless it is ALSO considered a DoT.

    So Velacious Curse should but doesn't, Daedric Mines definitely should, but does not. Jury is out on Streak for me lol. So it procs with Frag and Overload LA... and... and... Wrath maybe? (Though I think it doesn't!)

    Sorry for the confusion. It does indeed proc on AoE unless it's not a DoT, hte heals simply won't be great because you only get healed from one target.

    So this thread is confusing.

    It has a 1 seconds cooldown, then a 0.1 seconds cooldown. It doesn't work on aoes, then does...

    Has it had a cooldown introduced and do non dot aoes still heal me?

    Current status is - and is not going to change with the TG update:

    It has a 0.1 second cooldown on the heal, and it heals on all abilities but those wich are considered DoTs. The cooldown also means when you manage several hits at exactly the same time, only one of them will heal you.

    Fixed an issue that was preventing you from mounting while standing near an unlooted corpse.
    Abilities that heal based on their damage done (Strife, Puncturing Sweeps, Surge, etc.) will now properly calculate their heal values when the damage is fully or partially absorbed.

    Latest update. Not a direct change to surge but it now will properly heal when it hit a damage shield in pvp. So yes there is a change that is going live.

    Ehm, on 1.6 PTS it was changed so that a hit that *would* crit would still heal. At some point that was bugged and now should be repaired. And yeah I forgot that "change", my bad.
