any other console players feeling left out?

So let me start by saying I know we can post on the forums like any pc user but when it comes to PTS and new updates we are left in the dark! I mean you guys have had thiefs dlc on pts for a while now and your even going to get in on live a whole month before us? It doesn't seem fare that all the feedback and input put in from the PTS is PC only. Us console players have different play styles, UI's, and even controller gameplay ( I know you can plug in controller on pc but be real who does?) I just feel that there should be some option for us console players to give some feed back towards updates before live cuss not only do we not get to put in feedback. We also have to wait extra time to get the dlc's and we still get all the bugs that come with the patch and then have to wait even longer for the fix?? im just asking for a 2 way street here.

Half of your complaint is due to how sony handles patches and can't be changed by zos. The only way to release patches at the same time for pc and console would be to wait for sony's approval before they release a patch on pc.

im fine with how they do the release even though several other game manage to relase patch together its more with console just gets all the broken product and gets to give no feed back where is the console PTS? or a option for us to download and play PTS on pc without having to re buy the whole game?

Pc beta test for us, alert zos to bugs that hopefully get ironed out and we get a (hopefully) working version.

    Fine by me.

Console have more cry babies than pc. I don't trust all of us to give decent feedback.

we dont get a working version though we still get all the bugs pc gets they don't fix it then fix it before it gets to us we get the broken patch then have to wait for them to fix on pc then we get the fix even later

They get rid of a lot of bugs.

Not all of them, but more than if we had it the same time.

I can understand the second class feeling. Orsinium still hasn't been fixed at least on Xbox. You've got about a two minute window to get into Orsinium and get out or else you will get booted to the dashboard. This problem has been there since launch and nothing has been done about it. That's why it and the rest of Wrothgar is a ghost town on Xbox. It is also why so many of us are concerned that large cities in future DLCs will be similarly unplayable and uninhabitable. (I'm looking at you Abah's Landing!)

If Zos had acknowledged the problem or provided any feedback whatsoever, the console community would be more supportive generally.

Same thought here. PC community has it worse in many ways. Esp with the malestrom bug on round 7. We never had that issue for instance after they suffered it for a few weeks. Remember the shield issue that made it impossible. Same for sorc overload thing a few weeks back. Better they only release things on one platform with this game than all 3 and delay everything by a far greater time scale fighting all 3 platforms at once.

What are you even talking about? Honestly, I have neither heard about nor experienced this at all, and I just went through Wrothgar yesterday exploring the whole place and grabbing Skyshards, and there were lots of other players everywhere I went, including in the city itself. And I'm on Xbox too, just so we're clear. If there is anything to what you say I'm curious to hear more, but I just don't see it.

And back on topic, I agree it would be nice to have access to PTS on consoles but from what I hear it's essentially a whole other game you have to download just to play it, and they'd need to make a console version for us, which would have to be veted by Microsoft and Sony before it could be released, and most console players probably don't have the space (I already don't have room for all my games to be installed at once). So however nice it would be, it's also probably impractical, and anyway we can still see videos and read the discussions PC players are having and give some feedback greater than zero based on that, not as good as first hand experience but certainly not nothing.

I'm quite sure both sides have their fair share of cry babies, but I would still love for the opporunity to assist in testing for the game I care about.

Caff's statement about Wrothgar is 100% fact. There have been numerous posts on the forums about how buggy Wrothgar is on console yet ZOS hasn't acknowledged a single one.

ARK has their game out which is similar to a PTS.

Nah, I am on Xbox one, and I am fine with how it is.

Its pretty normal in MMO's, even more so on ones that have already been out for a YEAR prior to console...

Why would they waste their time for us? They already having people testing on PC, good enough.

Just be happy they brought it to console, sheesh.

You must be the only one then. I have this happen to me constantly and my guild mates suffer the same fate. The worst happened to a friend who got kicked to the dashboard, relogged, took three steps and got kicked again. This happened repeatedly until he was able to get out of Wrothgar. It took him half an hour to get out. I find it incredibly hard to believe you have actually been in Wrothgar on Xbox without being kicked to the dashboard.

Let's keep this in context. Those aren't even MMORPGs.
It does make a huge difference and the console version of this game came out almost a year later than PC

Typically massive server based games have different roll out dates unless a developer holds all updates until each is certified.

Also consider the size of the studios producing games like Titanfall and COD. Imthose are either large dev teams or small dev teams that portions of their work are done by companies like Microsoft.

this is first real mmo on xbox so there are none like it to compare to I guess neverwinter but as far as I know those patches coincide. in the end this thread comes down to all PTS input come from pc. PC test all patch, updates, everthing first gives all feedback then we get the finished copy and get to say what we want on forums hoping for a response.

I pre-ordered and wished it released on the original timelime for XB1, I then cancelled after it got pushed back the first time, and ordered the PC version because I Had to play it, and I got in on the character transfer deal so it was a no brainer in my eyes. I played with third party software and utilized my wired usb 360 controller and used my HDMI to display through my TV and played it like it was a console essentially.

I dont feel too left out because it hit PC first, it's also the most dedicated in MMORPG's, and I just dont believe they don't take console players input. We also have the ability to go 'test' the PTS ourselves on PC, I had 8 Gigs of Ram, AMD Radeon Graphics, and only a quad core processor. everything but intense PVP and Daedric Anchors was pretty smooth sailing for me. The Eso Live also offers A TON of insight if you have an hour or so to kill I recommend watching it for a plethora of inside information.

I do watch eso live and sure we could go play pts on pc but most console players don't have a dedicated gaming pc you would also have to re buy the game for pc witch is why if you read the post I state they should add an option for us console player to download the PTS client without having to re buy the full game for pc giving us with pc's the option to help and test for console.

Its never happened to me, bit laggy now and then but fine most of time
