im fine with how they do the release even though several other game manage to relase patch together its more with console just gets all the broken product and gets to give no feed back where is the console PTS? or a option for us to download and play PTS on pc without having to re buy the whole game?lolo_01b16_ESO wrote: »Half of your complaint is due to how sony handles patches and can't be changed by zos. Pc beta test for us, alert zos to bugs that hopefully get ironed out and we get a (hopefully) working version.
Fine by me.
Console have more cry babies than pc. I don't trust all of us to give decent feedback.

we dont get a working version thought we still get all the bugs pc gets they don't fix it then fix it before it gets to us we get the broken patch then have to wait for them to fix on pc then we get the fix even later

I can understand the second class feeling. Orsinium still hasn't been fixed at least on Xbox. You've got about a two minute window to get into Orsinium and get out or else you will get booted to the dashboard. This problem has been there since launch and nothing has been done about it. That's why it and the rest of Wrothgar is a ghost town on Xbox. It is also why so many of us are concerned that large cities in future DLCs will be similarly unplayable and uninhabitable. (I'm looking at you Abah's Landing!)
If Zos had acknowledged the problem or provided any feedback whatsoever, the console community would be more supportive generally.

What are you even talking about? Honestly, I have neither heard about nor experienced this at all, and I just went through Wrothgar yesterday exploring the whole place and grabbing Skyshards, and there were lots of other players everywhere I went, including in the city itself. And I'm on Xbox too, just so we're clear. If there is anything to what you say I'm curious to hear more, but I just don't see it.
And back on topic, I agree it would be nice to have access to PTS on consoles but from what I hear it's essentially a whole other game you have to download just to play it, and they'd need to make a console version for us, which would have to be veted by Microsoft and Sony before it could be released, and most console players probably don't have the space (I already don't have room for all my games to be installed at once). So however nice it would be, it's also probably impractical, and anyway we can still see videos and read the discussions PC players are having and give some feedback greater than zero based on that, not as good as first hand experience but certainly not nothing.

Caff's statement about Wrothgar is 100% fact. There have been numerous posts on the forums about how buggy Wrothgar is on console yet ZOS hasn't acknowledged a single one.
ARK has their game out which is similar to a PTS.

What console games have you played with an active ongoing PTS server?
Not a beta or alpha but a game where there is a live server and then another PTS server specific to any console game

I have a G600 mouse, and yet I prefer to play with controller.

I wasn't saying there is game where they have a pts I was saying there are plenty of games that have pc and console version and release patch along side another

I don't know of any games that ever released the PC patch at the same time as consoles unless they all played on the same servers.
Which game(s)?

titanfall/call of duty/divison normally all console/pc games that have announced dlc's have same release dates not this pc first console month later some might have xbox or sony exclusive get it a week or so early on some deals but most the time it all coincides pc and console wise

Let's keep this in context. Those aren't even MMORPGs.
It does make a huge difference and the console version of this game came out almost a year later than PC
Typically massive server based games have different roll out dates unless a developer holds all updates until each is certified.
Also consider the size of the studios producing games like Titanfall and COD. Imthose are either large dev teams or small dev teams that portions of their work are done by companies like Microsoft.
ZOS is in no way that large
I pre-ordered and wished it released on the original timelime for XB1, I then cancelled after it got pushed back the first time, and ordered the PC version because I Had to play it, and I got in on the character transfer deal so it was a no brainer in my eyes. I played with third party software and utilized my wired usb 360 controller and used my HDMI to display through my TV and played it like it was a console essentially.
I dont feel too left out because it hit PC first, it's also the most dedicated in MMORPG's, and I just dont believe they don't take console players input. We also have the ability to go 'test' the PTS ourselves on PC, I had 8 Gigs of Ram, AMD Radeon Graphics, and only a quad core processor. everything but intense PVP and Daedric Anchors was pretty smooth sailing for me. The Eso Live also offers A TON of insight if you have an hour or so to kill I recommend watching it for a plethora of inside information.

You must be the only one then. I have this happen to me constantly and my guild mates suffer the same fate. The worst happened to a friend who got kicked to the dashboard, relogged, took three steps and got kicked again. This happened repeatedly until he was able to get out of Wrothgar. It took him half an hour to get out. I find it incredibly hard to believe you have actually been in Wrothgar on Xbox without being kicked to the dashboard.
