OP (or others) Are any of you with iinet on ADSL2?

I have logged several complaints since early to mid January when PvP in Australian peak times became close to unplayable. Also impacting others in my guild with iinet on ADSL2.

Seems to have something to do with their merger with TPG and using routing to the US via Hong Kong now due to TPG having a PoP or something there that makes it cheaper for them.

My download speeds in Australia are ok for my connection 12-14Mbps down, but speedtest toTexas and it drops to 1-2 Mbps down during our peak time and after midnight climbs up to 10 Mbps plus.

So looks like iinet have changed international routing (and had some problems with a PPC connection in guam) however support don't mention that - they say its the game servers fault (hello I am not doing a speedtest to the game servers IP!!).

Anyone in Australia have a good ADSL2 provider?

During Australian peak times I am experiencing lag that gets worse the more data required (ie when conflict escalates), so large scale PvP becomes unplayable until after 11:30pm. I can play in IC with good ping most of the time, unless 5+ enemies are around, but I prefer Cyro over IC.

When there is a big group, I lag or sync out either to loggin or desktop. It is almost the end of the game for me and if I didn't have a great guild I would have quit already.
