The changes being made are solid counters but not by any means eliminating cloak. Cloak will still be OP to skilled players. With a little theory crafting Nightblades will be just fine. L2P
And I find it highly ironic that it was players like you most likely who were QQing up a storm about cloak in IC because you were incapable of learning how to easily counter it. So Zenimax gave you all an "EZ" button to nullify one of the NB classes most defining skills.
Maybe if you had one of your main's iconic skills rendered useless you would catch a clue as to why NBs are so up in arms about magelight (and the nerf to cloak also)
Not everyone's gonna sacrifice a skill slot (or 2) and sacrifice a lot of utility to fight every class just to have a skill equipped that fights only 1 class

The only reason this class was so popular in pvp is absurdly easy combo of cloak+ambush.
Now when cloak was nerfed they actually need to put some effort and strategy to win fights.
And they don't want to. Typical childish behavior.

I know this is a mockery of araxleons thread but.
What if evil hunter did this:
Gave the person having it slotted 2% max stan and stam regen
The crit as it have now
And "Prevents enemy from using a damage shield for 5 second".
How would you like that? Balanced? Noo it's our main defense yada yada.
And don't give me a bs reply about using shieldbreaker. lightattacks which has a cooldown and are outhealable isn't close to what magelight does to cloak (oh and aoe and detection pots)
How if there was a pot that made me ignore damage shields?
What if some specific attack made shields useless (like aoe for example) ?
Not even comparable for one second, but whatever floats your boat
FYI: I will think outside the box as NB has been my main since launch

@Masrer_Kas good eye, but there is truth to what i say. I would say both the NB and Sorc classes cry like no other. I give props to DKs for the lack of QQ and temp have always been sub par so that's all they know and may not even know they should be qq'ing..lol.. to all fairness, I don't want to see the nerf, but only if they put reflect and GDB back to how it was, tone down the nerfs on sorcs and if the temps aren't a healing class, get rid of the healing tree and give them something else. But... none of this will happen, all classes have dealt with huge nerfs and now it is the NB turn. NB have been screaming their class is broken for years, but have also been the main antagonists in the nerfs of other classes. When you point at someone you have three finger pointing back, just a reminder for all classes/races. Now, it is time to think outside the box and maybe we all can learn from this and begin to have some linear thinking and how these ripples will damage our beloved game.

you only need "1" guy in the zerg to slot the skill to make sure any solo nb is dead on sight
