Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Why can't we have a straight teleport to IC?

Wen't into Haderus again as AD, and all keeps are blue, so lot's of riding again. I'm maybe missing something, but why can't we have a way to get straight to ic?

Yeah, it's silly. It needs a separate queue and direct port.

Yep I've said this before nothing worse than getting ganked outside of the entrance and having to trying and ride back down

Originally it was supposed to be designed around PvP and just being able to go there at all was based on your factions ability to control/dominate a campaign. They mostly backed down on the original design but they still want IC to be based around PvP control to a certain point and not just a PvE farm spot so they make sure that your factions contribution to the campaign has some significance.

Kind of wish they had stuck with their original design of lockouts in all campaigns but I understand also why they backed down

YES! This is the ONLY reason I hardly, if ever, go to IC. I don't get ganked or anything getting there, it just takes FOREVER to ride there.
And if the keep closest to the gate isn't yours, you have to ride even longer.

I guess it's my lack of attention span, but being more on my horse than pvp'ing makes me want to stab something with a spoon.

Why.....ZOS wanted this design. (I think many agree what we ended up with, doesn't make sense)

MY own ideas, if nothing else changed, I believe two logical possibilities should occur based on campaigns.

-If you are on a campaign that requires certain rules to get access to IC, then anytime access is available, a player should be able to travel anywhere inside of Cyrodil to the sewers.

-If you are on a campaign that always gives access, a player should always be able to travel from any portal into the sewers.

-IF ZOS were to make logical changes, I believe there should be two situations. A PvE only situation where Cyrodil basically consists of delves, Dolemans and the PvE part of IC without tel var stones. Same travel rules apply as above.

-There could then be what exists and a PvE only, faction based Cyrodil/IC (results in 3 campaigns so to speak)

Hhm, i can see that point. Too bad's it doing more harm than good. I for example (and i think im not the only one) like ic at Haderus where's not big groups. I can have good 1v1 or 1v2 fights, instead of 1v15 fights on the more populated servers.

Hopefully they'd add the district control. IC wuold be way more PvP with that, than it would ever have been.

Simple. It's a PvP zone and it is a part of your campaign. It is a dangerous zone. Getting to it and being it should be dangerous. That's why.

There is still a campaign with the original rules...you can't teleport over but I will say, if you're into PvP, I'd strongly recommend this being your home regardless of faction.

Because it has been completely destroyed and taken over by the Daedra. The transit shrine network doesn't work any more.

It's fine. I've been attacked once going there.

Yeah...they keep saying that but while the transit shrine doesn't work....when we die...the wayshrine still works. In Cyrodil, it doesn't......Odd ZOS ... Odd

Silly deadric rules....need moar books and lore.

As long as it's unlocked for your faction & your faction control the closest keep to the entrance for you it literally take 2minutes or perhaps one minute to ride to the sewer entrance.

I don't know how you guys struggle getting there ?

I do agree with the direct port though OP. When I first read the ESO plus things about the IC I actually thought I could port there directly. Sadly this is just for the 2 dungeons.

Yea, as long as my faction controls it. It has just been the trend lately that blues take over hade all the time. So we AD have to ride from the base, and since i like to do my writs daily, i have to get out of IC. Or if some guildie needs urgent help with something. So it's just riding back, all the way after writs. Get's a bit tedious after few times.

I really don't know what should be done with IC. Something definitely needs to be changed with it because right now, its a PVE farm in the sewers and a ghost town up top, with some occasional ganking and raiding thrown in. I like the zone, but it either isn't implemented properly or the rewards/difficulty ratio of top side content needs to be adjusted. Should the IC population be divorced from Cyrodiil population? Maybe. I feel like the people going to IC are looking for a different playstyle than the people going to Cyrodiil, so maybe just decouple them.
I know they have some changes planned for IC, and I will be interested to see where it goes from here.
    Just my thoughts.

You can port out to a home base so I think its only logical you could port in! I honestly have never had trouble getting into IC but it is a pain in the Guar.
Celebrate for life is short but sweet for certain.
