Great post title, and completely agree. I would love for other overland epic events like anchors. I still remember my first time in Vulkel Guard hearing a Dark Anchor drop and seeing the sky darken... I ran towards it, suffice to say.

Would be sweet if dolmens were a bit harder, the more people in the area the harder it gets. And if you lose then the daedric have a foothold into the game world.

Then after some time make it an area quest to push them back out.

Problem is they added that stuff in craglorn and everyone complained about it. Every mmo has tried world events and they just end up being meh. Even in RIFT the rift events were awesome. For like a day. Then they just got annoying, mostly because there was no real reward for doing them.

Anchors should be random and not on fixed places. Why don't the cities post guards around the anchor places now to prevent the cults to summon it? (if it's random there might be clipping issues if it drops it a city or something but I am sure there might be a solution for it.

At night, there should be more invasion of daedra which are stronger. Only in a city is should be save.

We need Inn- brawls, zombie outbreaks, vampire's stalking cities etc

People dismissing what is meant to be challenging content as easy to solo on low level alts need to remember that the content isn't intended to be designed around low level characters with hundreds of champion points!

See, I would agree with this until Wrothgar came. The Dwemer world boss and Dardric Titan world boss are two of my favourite fights in any game I've ever played.

Something, anything they can add to them would make them better than they currently are. I've no desire to play an Alt, but I can see your point of view there.

I really wish they would increase the difficulty of them based on the players there. So the more players you have, the harder it is and more mobs to fight.

They really need to do something with these and expand them. I created a post a while back that suggested when no one fights the Doleman that it sends out wandering NPC's to attack cities and what not. Something like that would be really neat.

I'd like to see random roaming elite mobs/bosses. Sorry for the reference, but such as in Destiny it would read in the bottom left something like "a pack of wolves is near" which meant an elite mob was incoming. Events like that are always fun.

I like that idea of other factions attacking towns. It would really bring a lot more players together. Even if they were just npc's attacking.

On top of adding zone events, I think ZOS should finish their list of vanilla zone improvements, like expanding the delves in T2 and T3 zones, as well as buffing the old world bosses to be more powerful. More repeatable and rewarding content is always good, and it makes the world seem less static. Add quests to revisit the old delves and World Bosses to make them relevant as well.

I still think such content will work, provided they have appropriate rewards to go along with it. The reason why no one does Magical Anomalies or the Burial Sites or Nirncrux Mines is because ZOS nerfed their rewards into uselessness. I always think that the reward is the best motivator for players to do content. The continued popularity of the pledges and Wrothgar WB quests are evidence of that in my opinion.

If we are also taking about them going over sons old content, one thing I would also like to see is more veteran dungeons. There's a few that I would like to see continued.

Yeah they really need to add vet versions of existing dungeons with some cool new monster sets

while those are not bad, theres still no scaling, if 20 or more people turn up, then its frakked, spam some dam and hope u get the reward (same with dolmens if theres more than 3 people) so scaling of te bosses to the amount of players arround is pretty essential for those kind of encounters.

secondly, yes the new map has a couple, but all old zones are still dead, those kind of events can bring some life in the old zones (but well then u need scaling, player down to zone of all zones up to v16)

But the non-DLC zones need them. A reason to go back to them. After you complete the quests there is no reason to ever come back to them other than crafting.
