Hilarious thread. I have noticed NBs "tasting" people by quickly spamming ambush + surprise attack and watching your health. I was running a particular tank build at the time and my health barely moved. The NB simply stealthed and ran away. It is so ridiculous. NBs are some of the worst players in this game going only after soft targets and new players.

but isn't that exactly what an assassin does and should do?
the min/max meta also is a reason why NB shine you are aware of it right

They shine not because they can min/max but because they can stealth away and choose to disengage if they don't manage to burst you down. Other classes actually have to build some sustain into their builds. NBs can max damage and have poor sustain as long as they have enough magicka to cloak till they can get their stamina back up.

sorc can? and i ment by min/maxing helping the NB because they can burst someone down nd get into cloak they are strong. if they can just get someone down at 75% when they go full damage without sustain its way harder. now they can almost go in stealth and kill any non-sorc guy who they want

Signed in today to see if any improvements have been made, nope, game still has the worst Pvp of all time. It's like the devs don't even care tbh I have no idea how you could look at Pvp in its current state and then sit back like "ahh we did good boys" everyone at ZOS should be all hands on deck fixing this mess, but they know they already got paid and will continue pumping out crown store items as the priority.
Rollin' round Tamriel on that skooma wasted like a failed Grand Theft Auto mission.

Easily the best PvP experience of any game, of any genre.

    Lag can suck at times.
Wrecking blow spam gets me at times...so does snipe spam, steel tornado spam, lots of people using bats ultis, a bunch of well time procs dets, on and on.

As a NB, sometimes I'm successful getting out of a hairy situation with cloak, sometimes people actually l2p by countering my cloak with AoE attacks...and I die.

No other game offers a 3 way fight, in a campaign where what you do matters in the long term...with caste siege, castle siege defense, and large group combat. Lag jokes aside, I have played with probably 80 players in an area without major lag. Once that number gets to 100+, with ball up groups spamming procs det and AoE attacks, yup the lag hits.

But you sir, need to l2p, find a good guild, run with some good leaders...or, the game just isn't for you.

    Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

The fact a player stops attacking you because you are a tank shows they are in fact a good player and that they understand resource management.

You onviously didn't play FFXIV:ARR's pvp...

That games pvp isn't bad though

    The queue times just suck

If you want bad pvp go play flyff

No actually.. 14s pvp is indeed bad, it's not just the que times.

That games engine is not designed for fast paced player connection. Characters slide around as if they are on ice or rubber banding. Tryung to determine wether or not an attack actually connects when chasing someone feels awful. There entire system just feels loose and disconnected.

All things considered, pvp here is vastly superior than in ff14

I currently play FFXIV PvP because the queue times are worth it compared to unplayable pvp. I'll possibly make my return when I hear better stability, though.

I don't think you've ever tried pvp because if you compare it to what ESO has to offer, you might really need to consider how this game can't handle decent sized fights compared to a FFXIV 72 man BGs with a bunch of AoE being spammed. ESO is nothing but watching slideshows lol.

If ESO was actually functioning in Cyrodiil, then that game may be better than FFXIV PvP, but it isn't.
