How bout instead of the increase dmg for 2.5 sec, every shock that deals dmg it also slows the target? Or maybe while the skill is active when you heavy attack someone it slows the target and applies a dot for bout 5-10 seconds? Just throwin out idea cuz alot of people sayin the magic morph is way better and that Thundering presence is a waste of stamina so anyone have ideas so its used more?

    It needs to synergise with stamina builds but not be a buff for magicka ones. However the damage boost was simply a bad idea - the duration is short and the impact of trying to maintain it is ludicrously expensive. Couple that with the fact that the mobility buff is shorter and it uses stamina makes it a rarely used skill.

    Any of the following would work for stamina sorcerers.

    1. Applies a fracture debuff on hit for 2.5 sec
    2. Reduces sprint cost significantly whilst active (it has to be significant or its still better to use magicka morph)
    3. When you are hit with this active your attacker received a snare for 2.5s.

    I think those are much better then my ideas nice. Now only need people to listen and change and stam sorc will be on its way to rule the world!

    I always use boundless for the magicka dump, longer armor duration, and longer move speed duration. If thundering is going to keep costing stamina (a very heavy negative) it needs to not only compete with the longer duration of boundless but also compensate for it being such a resource hog. I like the idea of a snare as it helps a lot of builds (melee builds chasing down targets or ranged builds snaring pursuers) but I wouldn't mind the shock damage on attacks while active to proc the disintegrate passive. That passive's damage scales on max health and could be useful if the passive itself wasn't so situational.

    This ability missed the mark pretty hard when it was added. I think the best way to fix it would be to get rid of the increased damage effect, dramatically reduce the cost, increase the the Major Expedition duration and add a passive for having it slotted (maybe additional passive move speed that isn't a major/minor buff). Which it would probably have to be buffed more than that to make me use it over boundless.

    Yeah same @CP5 I use boundless for the same reasons. I guess I should have said that it needs to be reduced incost, have no additional damage above being a stamina morph and have a longer mobility buff and then add the extras I mentioned!

    But then you are just stepping on the toes of boundless, which still wins out by being a magicka dump and not eating my stamina. Thundering needs something as powerful as boundless's mobility to set it apart, but on a whole the class doesn't have much that an alternate morph could support. Sorc's need mobility to stay alive, even if thundering was buffed significantly it wouldn't compliment the current class much if at all. Shame so little has been done, but hey, at least zos buffed the pets.

    @CP5 Hmm tricky problem without an easy solution.
    I guess based on that criterion I would have a magicka morph that provided major armour/spell resist and then something else that worked for stamina builds such as major fracture and snare on damage.
