Yes, but not just for crafting. You should be able to Ctrl + Click on any armour or armour description to open up a preview panel.

They should add something what can be showed to other people too, Ive crafted tons of sets and people always ask how they look.

I got actually grand idea! Why cant they open some system, where player can go and browse through all sets/styles, not to mention little info on how to obtain them, I bet most players doesnt even know what kind of sets/styles theres and not to mention how to get them.

While I agree it would be nice, let's be real tea. It's 2016 now, there are no signs of this being implemented. ESO Fashion is now a thing and it's a good enough compromise.

ZoS have more important things on their plates.

So don't get me wrong I would like this feature - but if after 2 years there are no signs of it happening and players have taken matters into their own hands and came up with a solution deal with it.

I don't think it is, especially for console players, who don't tend to have a browser on hand when crafting. The fact that there is even a need for eso-fashion implies that it is a feature that should really be in the game.

You can preview on crown store, and at dye stations. Why not at crafting tables?

I don't even need to try it on my character, I'd be happy if they had mannequins that were equipped with the object before you created it.

I actually like the model of the akaviri sword, problem is the way how it is coloured.
Before i made it, i checked eso fashion and googled how vet 16 weapons look like, but there was nothing.
I wasted over 500k ap since there is no preview... ( well not wasted, im a crafter and plan to get all motifs anyway )
