it's comming
and it will help new players learn how to PvP without being behind in 3 ways:
- experience
- gear
- and CP
With a no cp campaign new people or people that have just hit vet ranks can play on a more even field. This way they are not overpowered by others at the cp cap and they can earn cp while in the campaign for later use.
I see it as a good idea for those that are new to pvp. Only the non vet and 1 normal campaign will be cp free. So there will stil be 3 cp counted campaigns.
Hopefully this will make more campaigns active, but I'm not bothered by this change as I can choose to play in it or not. It just adds choice so why not have it
Lol all the non skilled grinders are going to start raging because they'll no longer be able to bash on noobs. Noobs will be in the NO CP campaigns and all the fakers will have to play on a level field with them, or only compete against people of their own theoretical strength.
I can just smell the rage boiling in their blood......
Azura should have Champion Points since its the Main Campaign, other Campaigns should have an option to disable Champion Points.

That is the purpose of the non vet campaign, people can play in those for months and learn pvp on a more even field. You don't need a second newbie campaign after that.
501 CPs are not the reason why new players die at vet ranks. The reason is people with 15 more vet ranks. The difference between vet 1 and vet 16 is massive in terms of character power. But that will be leaving the game in the future. 501 CPs is very minimal compared to that.
There will be very very little difference in a non CP campaign vs a normal campaign in terms of CPs, Its the vet ranks combined with gold gear that change the playing field. Just fix the real problem and remove vet ranks now.

It does not take long to get a few hundred CPs and the difference between 200 and 500 is very minimal since the first few hundred CPs are worth the most and the later CP points give you very little (1% compared to .1%. Yes if there was no CP cap and people had 2k then it would be worth considering, but a 501 cap makes it pointless.
You need some kind of PVP progression to give you something to push for so your character can always get better. No one wants to hit that "I'm finished wall" CPs are perfect for that longterm minimal progression. A reason to keep going.
A No CP campaign... why not have a no levels campaign, a no gear campaign, basically everyone is exactly equal and the same, no building a character even needed, no progression....

Remember you can PvP at level 10 onwards, this change is there to basically help those starting out that are probably with their first character and still have 40 levels to go until they can start earning any CP. It's much better for them than a non vet campaign in where people still have earned CP from higher level alts they can use on lower level characters to dominate.

How long have you been playing on a vet 16? The difference between Vet 1 and 16 isn't large at all with the current battle leveling system in PVP. In no way, shape or form can the word "massive" be used to reference the gap.... A perfect example, I'm now relying on a maelstrom weapon to push my total stamina and weapon damage to as high as it was at V14 with all legendary V16 gear......vet levels are not the issue (PVE maybe, not PVP)

and exactly this is the order why new players get killed:
more expeienced players kill them
better geared players kill them
people with mor cp kill them
and nothing will change
