✭There is an archaic stat from the release of vanilla ESO that was scrapped sometime before ESO:TU launched called Finesse. Finesse was a "luck" stat that was a living stat, it grew and shrunk based on combat performance. After your Finesse rating grew to a certain point you would effectively "cash out" and receive better than average loot (purples, set pieces of lesser dropped slots like jewelry, etc).
There is also a luck mechanic to this game that is random, and Imperials have a bonus to it, which makes them more likely to find epic or above quality loot. Things like motifs, % chance items (roe, tempers, etc) are included, but NOT gear pieces as far as I am aware.
Also there is concern that older characters that were around during Finesse days are permanently stuck with whatever rating they were at the day of the patch where it was removed, meaning if you were at a low Finesse rating the day of the patch you were forever doomed to have below average chances to get gear. This is how it feels for many of the older players such as myself and guildmates who all have had our mains around since early access and notice staggering differences in drops between those toons and fresh ones.Edited by Gilliamtherogue on February 18, 2016 12:33AMOld member of The Order of Mundus, Mostly Harmless, Hostile, and Genesis Elite. Remember to delete the old character too or it won't work.
