I've done all the content I am halfway good at/can readily do (i.e. solo questing/delves/dolmens in Cyrodiil and base-game Alliance zones) several times already. Waiting for new DLC every 3 months that has roughly 20 game play hours of new content, content that I may or may not want to buy, isn't a big incentive.
I'm simply curious as to why people continue to play ESO.
My start in the ES series began with Morrowind and I fell in love at the start. Nothing I had ever experienced was like it. I played Daggerfall and a bit of Arena. I put countless hundreds of hours in every title released since Morrowind and the lore is incredible.
ESO kept me going for about 6 months. I took 6 different characters all through the EP story line (yes, 6 freaking times) and found I played my highest level character the least. Group content, I found, was lacking and it's what I look for in an MMO. I anxiously await the day when more "raid" (Trails or the like) type activities become available and maybe return.
My question to you, dear reader, is: what keeps you playing?
