I am looking forward to patch.
I have been using pets in 1v1 a lot on pts. 2 pets vs DK ois fun and pretty cool. Using the curse to have the pets more damage and 1 per to stun and 1 to heal. I think they are viable to pvp. I prefer to use just 1 pet otherwise too many slots are taken up.
My nb can't double reflect eitherNerfs:
1) We cant double reflect anymore.
Same goes for double take on a magicka nb or any other speedbuff2) Our speed buff was reduced 10% and we can't sprint to make up the difference, especially now that drinks don't work while sprinting.
Noone will really use that star with the current caps since the other blue stars provide a bigger benefit against all enemies3) 25% damage vs shields CP star.
Hm, maybe I just have a bad memory, but I can't remember reading any great buffs for Templars of NBs in the patchnotes. Maybe the changes to puncturing sweep, but it will still be laughable against your harness magicka + hardened ward stacking4) Our entire dev round this patch was wasted on pets.
5) All of our toggles are still toggles.
6) Every other class has received relevant buffs/bug fixes, and we continue to see them with each PTS update. This makes us relatively weaker.
Which 2 spells are you talking about? Mines, streak, curse, encase, mages wrath, boundless storm, ...7) One of the 2 spells we have that counter dodge rollers, reflect, and shuffle was nerfed 15% for single targets. (Magicka Det)
I don't see my Templar benefit more from the new gear than your sorc8) No relevant gear aside from the niche Vicious Death and Alchemist sets.
Sorcs primary defense against them (shields) still works, while dk's and to some extend nbs got their main defense removed
"Buffs":
1) Meteor - Everyone got this.
Yep and now everyone will slot it and prevent my main defense and my most used ultimate from working properly. Also which morph of inner light increases max stamina by 7% just for slotting it?2) A physical mitigation star - Everyone got this.
3) The option to buff just one bar with inner light rather than two - Everyone got this.
Nearly exclusive sorc buff. Magicka nbs and Templars do next to no elemental damage, dks rarely magic damage and stamina builds still have to split between mighty and elemetal expert4) Combined elemental and magic damage star - Everyone got this.
Doesn't read that way, but if it's no complaint thread, then I'm sure you're happy about my additions to show you that the changes aren't as bad for you as you fear.
Make no mistake, we didn't get anything but nerfs. This isn't a complaint thread. This thread is a reality check for everyone on the nerf sorc bandwagon.
I get a feeling that you are just trolling. There has never been a single star to buff all stamina damage, since all fighters guild skills and many class skills including almost all ultimates do magic or elemental damage.Everyone is quick to mention that sorcs benifit most from a combined magic damage star, yet no one will acknowledge that the stam damage star has always been this way.
Since sorcs can benifit most from a change, can they also not be burdened most from a change?
Have a look at the speed change. Magicka DK and Templar who have no native magicka based buff are relatively faster. Magicka NB stacks it's own speed buff with cloak and concealed weapon. Stamina is blazing fast either way, they dont even care.
What about reflect? Who procs the frags? Who relies most on ranged dps?
Who is utterly and complete dependant on shields?
I am NOT complaining. I'm sick of the one sided disingenuous BS.
I don't want to be OP either believe me, but when I read all this hate with these patch notes, I look around at the reverberating monster stam DKs, the face rolling werewolves, and my 15k procced frag tooltip applying 4k actual damage in this high cp/spell/crit resist meta, and I start to get a little worried. I feel like were right on the edge.
It's not all hardened wards and roses for us either. I explode just like you do when focused by more than one good person in this high damage environment.
Nerfs:

nerf sorc bandwagon.
Im with you guys. This doesn't just apply to magsorc. Stam sorc was totally *** on by this patch.
I like how you write "everyone got this" after every line in the 'buff' category, but not in the 'nerf' category even tho every (real) nerf you listed also affects everyone.

Nerfs:
1) We cant double reflect anymore.
2) Our speed buff was reduced 10% and we can't sprint to make up the difference, especially now that drinks don't work while sprinting.
3) 25% damage vs shields CP star.

8) No relevant gear aside from the niche Vicious Death and Alchemist sets.
"Buffs":
