Anyone found a good sorc heal build? And pet question.

Never played a sorc. But that twillight pet seems cool healing itself and others for around 14k hp each and it is spammable.

I was looking for a build with the twillight pet on both bars and rest group buffs or dps skills.

Question: is it normal that the pet heals doesnt scale with my spellpower? It does scale with my magicka.

Edit: forgot heavy attack resto staff gives major mending (25%) heal so it heal will be around 1700 with it and more with the right heal gear.

Pet damage / heals scales with Max Magicka, never Spell power. One of the former Sorc healers in my Guild who rerolled to templar is currently working on such a build.

Good sorc heal build:

1. Tell your sorc there is Nutella in the walk in fridge.
2. Lock him in, allow to freeze to death
3. Dispose of body. Malabal Tor has many good dumping spots.
4. Hire magicka templar as replacement.

Ha...jk. Tried to build a healer sorc because it seemed doable given their mass magic pool. He's totally underwealming as a healer, so I respeced him using sypher's sustain sorc as a starting point. Still underwealming. The issue I find is that I can sustain myself just fine, but he sucks if I'm trying to heal a group. And if I'm trying that, I'm giving up an opportunity to shell out a heck of a lot of dps. Feels like having Peyton Manning play forward.

I'm also thinking about making my sorcerer an off healer for dungeons for more dps because no one needs a full healer for just dailies and what not. I'm pretty sure it can be nice but I just need to make some proper tests on how easily the Twilight pet likes to die. :P The thing is though I don't see any Sorcerer healer being able to top a full Templar healer in trials etc, since they don't have that good utilities like templars do. But Sorcerer off healer with Overload? Niiice.

Its really really nice to heal with those sets and u get a nice amount of max magicka too ^^ its a pain in the ass to farm the heal set tough
