It pretty easy to fix templar house, not needed of pvp treatment already, just dk treatment: scales-like defense - so enemies will be forced to come into my house, aoe cc/roots - so my house will become their prison.

Hey guys, Eric Wrobel wants us to protect our house. He wants us to cast our channeled focus and purifying ritual and stand still. Wrobel basically said that all of Cyrodil is our house. So once we drop our non-mobile abilities we lay claim that where ever we stand it is now our house. Who cares if the rest of our group is out of healing range; this only means we did not invite them into our house. And you group of 24 enemies trying to 1vsX me since my group already ran off; try to blow this house down. After all, we are Templars and this is our house! So thank you Eric Wrobel for giving me a house, I always wanted one...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnECY26PSHk
Guys, I think we're all just misinterpreting what he said. When an enemy comes into our house and wrobel says, "it's gonna be bad for you", he didn't mean for the enemy, he meant for the templar.

Creates a game where you have dodging, jumping, running, teleporting and ever changing mobile combat and situations....
Tells one class to stand still in fights....and play like a dk ....

To me this is the most confusing part of this epic saga as well. We actually have a class with the toolkit to utilize such a playstyle within the limits of the combat mechanics in general, but Wrobel still thinks of Templars first, who do not have the toolkit.

I've wondered that too, I'm leaning towards nepotism.
