Is bugged emp siege dmg fixed in TG?

Has anyone been able to flip the ring and test emp siege damage on PTS? On live right now there's been a bug (for a while, but that's par for the course with ZOS) that allows emps to do double the amount of siege damage against players. Emps can oneshot most people with a coldstone treb. With siege damage going up, has this actually been fixed? Or are we waiting another 4-6 months for that?

That bonus damage is supposed to apply to walls and doors. Far as I know, they actively removed the ability for the emperor passive to do extra damage against players a while back, and it was seemingly reintroduced as a bug around wrothgar. There's a reason the past few emps on azura's have been on heavy siege as compared to emps 3-6 months ago - someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that the extra damage to players is a relatively new thing and not intentional as far as we can tell from patch notes. I've heard this talked about as a bug over the past few months from all walks of life, so if it's not, it'd be swell if we could get that cleared up.

Whether it's a bug or if it was intentional, if it's still happening on PTS, this will likely need to be looked at for next patch as a single cold stone treb from an emp will oneshot pretty much everyone it hits, and coupled with vicious death, good golly that's silly. An emp prox det + vicious death is going to destroy enough as it is, but at least you can keep tabs on where the emp is during an actual fight and react, if there's just a ton of counter siege carpet bombing an area, well, playing Russian Roulette with the red rings (that don't always show up in lag) is a stupid system for balance.

FFS I'm aware of the passive, I've been emperor before and have fought against plenty. Siege damage from emps started to do more damage than normal last patch to players whereas it did the same damage to walls and doors. My understanding is that in prior patches they had changed this passive to only affect siege damage to structures and not players. Anyone that still believes tool tips in ESO needs to be sold a bridge, hence the thread and fishing for confirmation whether the current damage on live is intentional and whether it still exists on PTS.

Tactician is only supposed to buff siege damage vs walls and other siege.

It was explicitly fixed in patch 1.1.x (forget when incremental) to remove additional damage from players (the infamous emperor ground oils)

it cropped back up a couple patches ago (subsequent to 2.1.4's removal of former passives) when they tried to fix it for wall damage, and during this, apparently removed the restriction on players.

That is the issue.

Also the Wikia link above is inaccurate, as the Emperor passive now only buffs health/stamina/magicka by 75 percent, thus is not a good source for information. I surmise that information is from launch before the intentional change to siege damage vs players.

This is the correct passive, the former emperor part is no longer applied.

I was just thinking about this the other day. As someone who's on both ends of the equation regularly I don't have issues with it this patch, but with vicious death and the 30% damage increase I feel like this should be fixed.

It's pvp it'll never get fixed and a lot of people think it's intended so they don't complain about it.

/golfclap I think everyone and their mother living upstairs is former emp by now..maybe if you read the thread I was replying to the dude who said it was tactician...but tactician was never meant to increase damage to players it was always to walls. (since 1.2/1.3 i don't remember that far back) Right now its to players...meaning its broken..so the guy I quoted ak the guy i was responding to was misinformed. You arguing a point that wasn't directed at you (indicated by the quote) that ultimately agrees with you seems a little ridiculous...
