Pts Dragon Healers Rise and Shine?!

Since launch I hop back from time to time on my DK healer.

But now it seems a good time to come back. With thieves patch. Inferno which heals, magna shell which auto shield, igneous shield is stronger. And prob more but I will check it out soon for myself.

BoL which is nerfed. I think this is the time for dks to shine with 30% more healing!(igneous shield)

I've always loved to heal with all classes (nb and dk were my favorite), i'm gonna get back to heal with my dk for sure after dlc comes on live

Cauterize isn't as great as you might think. Borderline useless, considering restoration staff abilities.

Yeh I was thinking about Cauterize on my healing bar eso skills says it will heal for 518 every 5 secs and combat prayer heals 618 or get magelight 1 of the 2 def for spell crit. And the other bar with buffing skills igneous shield, igneous weapons (which give major sorcery and major brutality to me and allies) pts is downloading slow so all the info I got are from pts notes and http://eso-skills.com/skill/ptsindex.html

But it kinda look Bright for a DK heal/support

DKs were already pretty good healers. It's just that people are so focused on Templars as the healing class that they don't think outside the box.

If anything they nerfed DK Healers (Major Mending 30% ->25%.)

All of the changes directed to a heal/support style are novelty and have no use over currently used skills or have little impact.

They did make a DK Healer slightly more thematic however, Barrier -> Magma Shell.

Yeh I know. But that wint stop me:p

Igneous weapons really looks cool. I mean major sorc and brutality for 30 secs for allies and caster. That means atleast one spell on the bar free for a spell or stamina user.

And for stamina users they minor brutality from earthen hearth + major brutality from Igneous weapons is good I guess they must stack.

I think the DK is now the only one who can use a mass shield ultimate be it for 9 secs with 8 meter range

And I wonder how barrier will work with the 8% more healing and now stamina only drains on intercepted projectiles. I think the range for synergy bone surge is also improved.

I was able to get cauterize procs up to 8k per tick, but still... sometimes you just don't have time to refresh it.

DK healers are perfect for this meta... igneous weapons will be far more useful than you can imagine.

And cauterize will be great as well, you guys are already using mage light nayways.

I have been healing the new raid on my DK both normal and hard modes with just another templar and myself as dedicated healers. I've always enjoyed healing but the buffs are nice and I find myself surprise to be able to keep the group alive when she DCs (accursed pts crashes). I have a healing bar and a cc/ aoe bar with talons and destro weave with osidian shard. My only disapointment is that you have to focus all your CP into blessed to get decent heals, and obsidian shard is garbage dps especially with low magicka and no points in ele expert. I recommend 100 points into bastion with a good amount of health because our group shield scales with that. Since you need 18-20k health for good shields, our magicka gets dropped to about 36k which isnt that great. IMO id like to see a healing buff or a magicka scaling morph for shields, but if you manage to farm a good traited set of combat physician / trinimac you can do great things. Currently I use spell power cure / trinimac because I'm still waiting on my last piece of combat physician and our templar is finishing up her spell power cure.

Probably ain't bad like the WoW Shaman's Earth shield. It will probably hit the person with the least health. May help in a pinch.

Might be more useful than some gear procs.
