Blood Mage spamming crit resist with Robes of Transmutation

Robes of Transmutation tooltip:
" When you heal an ally with a healing over time effect, grant them 1259 resistance to critical hits for 1 second"
I assume that the crit resist buff will happen with every tick of the HOT.
But will that actual happen ?
Would a Bloodmage spamming Restoration and Grand Healing morphs generate simultaneous crit resists on multiple allies ?
And would an ally getting a HOT from both abilities have a double resist buff ?
It could be a very nice set for a Bloodmage in PVP.

✭✭If you mean Sap Essence I dont think it qualifies as heal over time.
Im curious if AOE heals will proc this set because that could make it good in combination with Healing Springs or Refreshing Path.

Most serious PvP guilds don't share mechanics when they find something OP, and us raiding guilds won't care about this set.
Just get two friends on PTS and spam some heals on one while having the other hit him with crits. See if the damage lowers.

Something similar happened with dodged heals up to half a year ago, but that has been fixed.

No but Funnel Health is a solid damage+HoT ability. I think that's what he's using Bloodmage to refer to: A NB using Funnel Health plus Rapid Regen to stack HoTs on teammates. No but Funnel Health is a solid damage+HoT ability. I think that's what he's using Bloodmage to refer to: A NB using Funnel Health plus Rapid Regen to stack HoTs on teammates. Though unfortunately Funnel Health will only heal 1 additional player now after the nerf.

I've tested it and it works when using certain HOTS (including grand healing springs) though I'm fairly sure it doesn't stack as unique buffs never do. That said it's a little bit buggy at the moment as some unmitigated crits still get through intermittently while one or more HOTS are active - I'm sending in a bug report tomorrow.Skylärk // v16 Stamina DK (AvA 23)
