Accessibility to the populace does not make am item, skill or specific piece of gear OP. It also does not justify gear being OP. If an item is OP it needs to be fixed or removed from the game. Maelstrom weapons don't suddenly become overpowered just because anybody can use them. They either are or aren't overpowered.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. The changes to crit modifiers, penetration etc, precise Maelstrom staffs are best.

Explain please.

The classes should all have their individual strengths and weaknesses forcing them to work together in order to complete difficult endgame content. This solo thing is a slap in the face to people who actually like to play games with friends. It's even worse because realistically, I'm willing to bet most who complained about ESO not having enough solo content most likely can't beat vMA anyway so who was this content for?
Strongly disagree. I mostly play solo just because of the sheer amount of time it takes to form a group and run content. But also some days I log on and I don't want to run a veteran dungeon. What am I supposed to do then? Vet Maelstrom is a perfect fill.
For me, Vet Maelstrom has been one of the best additions to the game so far.
