PTS Hotfix 2/10/16 – Heists

Hey guys!

In order to increase testing opportunities, we have completed a hotfix on the PTS today that will allow you to get all 5 versions of a heist per day, rather than just one random heist per day. Please note this change is only on the PTS to aid in testing; once Thieves Guild goes live, you will only be able to get one random heist per day as intended.

There is no patch to download for this change. Please enjoy, and thanks!

Yeah I haven't worked out the requirements to unlock heists yet either. I've completed two Guild Storyline quests, hit Guild Rank 3, and completed a load of Guild Job/Tip Board quests too, and still the Heist board says "You do not meet the requirements".

You need to complete 'The Long Game' quest from the Thieves Guild. This will open up the heists board.

Perhaps a character template with all quests completed for testing end game TG dailys would be handy to have?

@James-Wayne It was noted in the patch notes that we will get templates with full TG skills lines in a future incremental.

Templates with the highest ranking Thieves Guild reputation will be available in a future PTS incremental patch so you will be able to freely test the new Thieves Guild skill line right away.

@James-Wayne Just completed The Long Game, still no heists. Any other things you've done already?

Oh, never mind. Seems there's a quest from Velsa outside the Thieves Den that kicks them off.

Thanks to all of the great feedback we’re getting, we’ve evaluated the Thieves Guild DLC and made a number of updates which should help improve the play experience on PTS.

These updates include:

Evaluating quest givers and ensuring quests are easier to find. For example; updating Velsa’s location where she grants the Master of Heists quest and moving her to a more visible position.
Allowing each different heist to be played once per day while on PTS instead of only one heist per day. Note: This will be changed back prior to release on the Live servers.
Increasing the amount of reputation on PTS that players will get for completing story quests and daily quests. Note: This is may change prior to release on the Live servers.
Creating an introductory quest in Abah’s Landing to teach people about the pickpocketing repeatable quests while encouraging players to explore Hew’s Bane.
Unlocking Hew’s Bane wayshrine immediately after gaining access to the DLC.

We're also continuing to review the Thieves Guild skill line to make additional updates and improvements. This includes the addition of the Clemency passive, which will be available to test on the PTS soon.

I think troves should lose their glow initially and you should add a keen eye type perk to add the glow.
