Know even less about WildStar. I have a sore spot for WoW fanbois, though, especially when they're comparing WoW to ESO... on an ESO forum, no less.
I'm also beginning to wonder what kinds of crazy mechanics must have been implemented for the WoW/Wildstar bosses, if the Engine Guardian is so lifeless in comparison.

Ooo! Ooo! Or that 1 fight in BC where we tanked the boss, and then dpsed the adds down.... Those were some really memorable boss mechanics weren't they....
I remember some really cool boss mechanics in wow, and wildstar even though wildstar was crap, but still some really cool mechanics. ESO just has artificial difficulty, where when the fight is difficult its only cause the boss has too much freakin HP, has near 1 shot abilities, and there r too many adds.
I want memorable mechanics, not artificial difficulty....

AHA! A WoW fanboy! Your kind has no place here.
In all seriousness, grow up. This is one of the silliest threads I have ever seen. So dumb it's sad. So bad it's terrible.
Someone should really explain what those bosses do in wow for those of us who never played that thing.

Some of my favorite raid fights were in Ulduar.

What? Like the crazy cat lady or when we got to vroom around in trucks with big shooters on the back?
WoW was WoW and there were some good things, but if you want to talk artificial boss difficulty then that is where its at.
They capped groups with good dps by putting in artificial pauses or phases to make things seem more difficult. The only real difficulty was getting everybody from 10 years old to 70 to listen to a raid leader. Seriously, it was like herding cats. Not difficult by any stretch of the word difficulty other than "listen, this is exactly what you do, now do it" and hoping it lands on working ears.
The first time through WoTLK was cool and all, but after that it just became a boring game. Locked out raids, so if you're unlucky enough to be grouped with a toolio, you were screwed for the week.
Not to mention that after the first few months, they start nerfing each raid so JV and lower teams could complete them.
