PVP 12v12 Death match

I was just curious how many people would enjoy a 12v12 death match or 4v4 in a smaller environment or a last man standing kind of fight. The last couple days I have looked for smaller scale pvp but unfortunately the times I like to play is when all servers are dead but Azuras and we all know that's a zerg bomb. Which don't get me wrong is fun sometimes but not when you have a small raid and just want some more evenly matched fights.

I think that anyone who is serious about PvP and actual skill vs skill or team vs team would enjoy a proper "battleground" or skirmish or whatever they'll be called.

We know the battlegrounds/small scale PvP are on their way but we don't know when.

PvP in ESO when it's good, like small groups of ppl vs small groups of ppl or 1vX/1v1, is freaking awesome and some of the best PvP I've ever had in an MMO.
But the large scale PvP, Zerg vs Zerg or just everyday Cyrodiil in general, is among the WORST PvP experiences I've had in any MMO.

I started playing ESO because I thought I'd be PvPing a lot, as I was an avid PvPer in many earlier MMOs. Good thing ESO is a fantastic game even without the PvP, because the PvP was a monumental let down that almost made me quit the game entirely.
While PvP is still fun at times, it's just riddled with bugs, issues and imbalances that I as an old time and experienced PvPer just can't accept. (animation cancelling being one of those things, and even though I'm great at it, it's STUPID and shouldn't be in the game)

I'd be up for that tbh although I expect I'd just get wrecked. Small skirmishes and 1v1/2s is what I like the most about PvP, it's where I've learnt a lot and is where your skills are really put to the test. I can happily leave zergs and blindly firing arrows in to 40 different people or spamming an attack until your crosshairs catch someone

Join a duelling guild, and try to convince people to try those ideas out. They already do 2v2, 4v4 matches, the 12v12 is harder to pull off usually, due to lack of participants. You also need at least 1 player from each alliencei involved to stand nearby, and ressurect when the battle is over.

    Good luck :3

A true battle for groups vs groups with no siege or npc getting in the way, I'm surprise they didn't add this already.

lol. is 12 considered a zerg now lol. and for all the people who QQ about aoe caps. they dont block as mutch damage as most people think. only one who suffers because of it might be the steel tornado spammers. i cant recall anytime ive been hit by someone who also hit 4 more then me with the same attack xD

I agree that this would be fun but it would be a mess i without structure like limited number of resurrections and in a smaller environment. I really think it would help most of the pvp player base understand how to counter certain attacks such as prox detonation and many other strategies that big groups like to use.

Here is the forum post from the last GvG which was 12 vs 12...there are videos to watch as well. It was a really good time, many turned out to fight and spectate. I think many in the ESO pvp community will show to support more of these events.

@Trashkan actually unlimited ressurections, because they wait till the fight is over. Meanwhile the battle is on, the rezzers usually play lute, goof around and either warn or eliminate randoms comming to the area - to keep the duel site clean.
    - if the battle takes too long though, and the survivers change their battleground away from the dead teammates, the rezzers sometimes do ressurect, to avoid that they automatically spawn at their base. The ressurected team mates do not enter battle, and go become rezzers :3

The more experienced players, the more structure. In case of noobs at a duelling site, if they interrubt duels etc. people just let them get killed. They get warnings to not interfere with duels, if they continue then they will be killed on sight. If they never learn, they usually get kicked from duelling guild as well .... duels require a certain amount of trust between enemy players.

This sounds very fun and I am aware of dueling guilds buy I think the topic is drifting off. I was implying a matchmaking where you could join when ever you want and have your preferred roll selected and it makes a random team or merges your group with another or just picks up singles with even teams with heals and tank dps ect.it puts you in a small scaled map and best out of 5 wins resserections should be allowed it would create strategy but limit the amount of revives. I posted this because the times I play the player base is spread out and not many people online it takes me at least 30 min to find a group and to find some pvp action this style of play would streamline pvp and could actually create a ranking system on kills/wins. It would create competition instead of waiting until everyone goes to sleep to crown emp I like alliance war the way it is but sometimes it's so lopsided people don't even bother.

On top of that I think many game modes could be implemented like Anex, capture the flag, last man standing and many other game modes. It would keep guilds active with each other and maybe even make another weekly leader board for gear.

I'd be much more interested in something like this than I would in 1v1 duels - having a choice of several 'maps' each with different features and objectives and rules of engagement would be a fascinating thing to play from time to tiome as an alternative to open world AvA.
