OP, out of curiosity are you playing with a Sorc when you often don't? I ask because I generally have good FPS (it tanks in vCOH undead arena, and vCOA at the first boss for some reason...) but anytime I switch to my sorc (which was previously neglected) I get very, very bad stutters. Having done Maelstrom Arena I often have to /reloadui between arenas otherwise there's a VERY definitive pause when I'm weapon swapping. Not just lag, but my entire screen pauses for a half second. This never happens on my DK tank who, for what it's worth, probably weapon swaps with the same intensity / frequency.

We did Trials this weekend and when I complained about my FPS dropping while using Liquid Lightening, Boundless Storm, Pulsar everyone else in TS said their game is a slide show. This never happens when we don't have a magicka sorc. Again, I usually tank most dungeons / trials and RARELY bring out my sorc, but anytime I do lately, the game and my frames takes a dive.

I should note, no one ever complains about terrible frames in Trials except when I DPS'd on my sorc. I'm wondering if there's a relation to some sorc ability causing something.

I usually play ultra without any troubles (on a 1440p monitor too), but even setting the graphics to medium or low (to help my time in v. maelstrom) the results are all the same. Stutter.

its not hardware or dust or overheat i cleaned my PC hardware last month even i took apart my GPU and heat sinks fans etc and changed thermal paste on them i cleaned them like a brand new parts and my fps was at stable at 55-60 in the world except cyrodiil after last mini patch i experienced annoying lag spike in dungeons and fps drops to 25 30

Time to see if this is fixed for the new patch on both 32 bit and 64 bit....

Man, I should have seen this thread earlier.

I also opened and dusted my components because I thought it was overheating or something.
Also installed a performance monitor to display GPU and CPU temp, usage and memory.

About a week ago I was in AA and SO with a guild, FPS would drop to zero.
ZERO! Sometimes 2.
And it was not just fps, but ping as well.

The acknowledged the frame rate issues in the miscellaneous section of the patch notes.

They have known about the performance issues since PTS but have done nothing.
