Would you be happy if BoL is a Battle Spirit Buff for PvP only?

So Im curious Breath of Life is only being complained by pvpers @ZOS_GinaBruno. So my question is can we please make this part of a battle spirit buff? so that way we do not ruin the pvp healers. Or another option is maybe we make it to wear like sorcs or dodge roll it cost more in pvp if you use it consecutivly? but again that would only be active if in cyrodiil. I think alot of us Templars wouldnt mind if this was a battle spirit buff instead of affecting all players inside and outside of PVP. I personally think this idea is great and hopefully i can get some feed back from others to support this. @ZOS maybe this can help make a choice on how this skill should end up.

    I have said this before!! No stam while blocking etc. all big pvp focused changes that affect pve shoyld only be added on to a battle spirit debuff. All class specific. Effect certain abilities while in cyro. With the generic stuff

    Just delete the skill in PvP so they finally stop nerfing us in PvE.

    I play PvP btw. But balancing around it is just stupid.

    Thing is people never complain about something being OP in PvE, because it never something used against you. IMO since 97% of PVE is way too easy, there needs to be nerfs to certain skills used in PVE, in order to make the majority of content have some kind of challenge to it.

    I honestly believe ZOS wanted to change BoL primarily for PvE while they had support from some of the PvP community for a BoL change. Make Templar healing less easy-mode in dungeons and balance for the new trial.

    I also believe this was the case for the no Stam-regen while blocking, ZOS would've wanted to encourage a more active playstyle for tanks in PvE, and less about perma-blocking (which I might add is still very much doable), while this would also be a welcome change in PvP.

    And let's be clear here, there will never be as many complaints for PvE as there are in PvP. In PvP, you are against other players just as yourself in a highly competitive environment. In PvE, which is awfully easy at the moment with the exception of vMA and vMoL, anything to make you able to finish it faster or easier is welcome by all.

    Battle spirit has already failed once to effectively balance Breath of life in PvP. If anything, BS made BoL stronger, by having such a devastating effect on a lot of smaller heals so that BoL spam was mandatory.

    The problem with Battle Spirit is that it is too general. A blanket % nerf on healing, shields or damage dis-proportionally nerfs smaller heals, smaller shields, and smaller damage skills while not being powerful enough to affect the larger ones. Here are some examples:

    With a 50% nerf to healing recieved in cyrodiil:

    • Breath of life is still powerful because its already super strong heal and can be buffed in 2 separate trees in the champ system as well as with the seducer set.
    • For contrast, the sorcerer self heal, Dark Exchange, only heals for 3k outside of cyrodiil. Inside of cyrodiil it heals for 1.5k which is the equivalent to one tick of vigor. It would be a waste of champion points to buff it 25% because it would only be boosted to 1.8k.
    • The same thing with Dragons blood because that only returns 33% of your missing health. After the BS nerf, its around 16% of missing health which is why no one uses Dragons Blood anymore in PvP. On a 20K HP character at 25% health remaining (5k) DB heals for 4.9K (unbuffed) outside of cyrodiil and only 2.4k with battle spirit nerf. Not worth it.

    Same thing happens with shields. Battle Spirit made the strongest shields the only ones anyone runs.
    • Harness magicka and Hardened ward are 10-20k shields when min/maxed so nerfing them to 5-10k shields is no big deal. Magicka stacking and 100 points into bastion can boosts these up to 12-15k.
    • But smaller shields like Sword and Board shielded assault, 2H brawler, and the Health Percentage Damage shields of DK and Templar (obsidian and blazing) are now next to worthless unless you have 40k+ health.

    TL;DR: Battle spirit percentage nerfs need to be completely reworked, not increased.

    Breath of Life is not only in PvP too strong. If my Templar can pound out a constant +23k heal that heals the caster and two more, it's definitely too strong. BoL is way too much of a heal for all the existing content and makes healing way too easy.

    I don't get why BoL gets a nerf really, or any healing skills. I mean ..there are healing debuff enchantments and skills people can use in pvp.

    I use healing debuff abilities ..works fine against healers. ^^

    I agree most content is too easy, but there are people at different skill levels, and people with disabilities that don't have the necessary reaction times for harder content.

    They just need to implement hard and nightmare modes.
