Jump maps and social gaming

Any one else think a jump map would be awesome in this game? Where there is a progression, persay 1 to 10, 1 being fairly easy and 10 being extremely difficult. Like in cold harbour or something. I think this would be awesome, and you and your friends can go on it and have some laid back fun.

And for social gaming, what I mean is.... So you ever get warn out from questing or pvping or even grinding (lol) and just go to the nearest town and chillax and talk to people? I think more should be added to this. Number 1 (of course) would be dueling, its the most social relaxing aspect of any mmo. Number 2 (lol number 2) would be mini games, jump maps could of course be one of them, but I don't know what else.

so that's why I'm here

What do you guys think could be added to give this game that extra "thing" that makes it stand out from the rest in the aspect of "social relaxing warn out fun time"?

I see the new TG dailies with the whole stealth thing as something I'll enjoy very thoroughly, kinda like a mini stealth game inside ESO (I've been playing a bunch of Dishonored so this is really fun sounding in my mind). When they release housing there is the idea that they'll also release guild housing for just socialising and such.

You can always join a big guild and talk on TS, or an RP guild and do a lot of that in towns as well for the social side. For me the most fun I have is pugging some random dungeons, as you get a completely different experience each time with peoples builds, and if you can't complete then just all leave and try a different one :)
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Nevertheless we are social beings. I tend to meet friends in an inn and we have a chat or do something together what is not combat related. I think that the thievery stuff might offer such opportunities as well, which are not combat related but still fun to do together. i agree that the possibilities are quite limited in ESO, especially when compared to second life. But I think as well, that is is part of role play, to have as well some form of social life in ESO. But I agree, that the opportunities are quite limited with this aspect of role play in ESO.

LOL this thread makes me remember how much I hate jumping puzzles with my charr on GW2... those things were made for 'little people'. Love that game though.

At least if something like that came to ESO there isn't such a big height difference between races.

I never liked jump maps, although the only games I've tried them on are Urban Terror and Minecraft, so I can't talk about it much.

    No, God No.

If you want a jumping game go play GW2 or Mario.
We do not need jumping puzzles in ESO

I could see some repeatable missions that guilds could do.

They are starting to get some of the right ideas with the world bosses in Wrothgar.

There are trials. Maybe some that you dont fail out if you dont kill the boss after 2 tries would be a good thing.

There are public dungeons you can do as a guild group.

I don't think the (what do you call it?) way our character moves would be good for JPs. It's not accurate enough. Too bad that most of the landscape in ESO is reduced to a matte painting because of that. I don't understand why you can't at least stand on roofs.

    1. Find areas in the game to build you own jump courses, play the floor is lava with people.
    2. Organise events in those areas.
    3. Offer prizes.
    4. Player made content once again winning in an MMO.

Lol imagine the amount of people getting stuck for hours at a time due to crappy collision in the engine.

    1. Let players design their own horse race tracks. Give them the opportunity to place 'goals' on the map that can be seen ingame and activated once you pass through them.

    2. Guild activities would be possible too (something that can be done regardless of char level). Horse racing, hide-and-seek, paintball matches/hunger games, I don't know, the possibilities are countless.

Try jumpinh puzzles I'm tera online theres tons of them and you are like default built to jump the maximum distance there was no slight bunny hops you either jump up or vaulted yourself 15ft forward trying to jump from one 2 foot pedestal to the next
