    A funnier thing would be to lock them inside the building for 3 days over a weekend with no cellphones, order just enough pizza so 1 in 3 people can eat enough to be full. Then have them fight for the pizza by all working on the lag, that's right even the artists and designers. Hell even the script writers can attempt to fix the lag in an attempt to get enough pizza to eat.

    Let the lag fix ...BEGIN!

    didnt you hear they completely fixed the lag, theyre ruining azuras star so everyone jumps ship to the other campaigns fixing the pvp lag!, ofcourse when guilds coordinate and turn another campaign back into the only real active campaign again it will start over but they can atleast say well the new lag issues only started recently so we get another 12 months to try and find a solution

    Better yet, copyright the idea/technology and become a billionaire from selling it to every MMO company in the world as none of them have the solution to this.

    CCP Games have put insane effort into making EVE Online work with 2000 people, and even then they had to implement time dilation to help give the servers a chance to handle the data.

    I´m not sure if that will happen. CU-RvR is kinda different from Eso AvA. No balancing on 1v1 or smale scale balancing, no battlegrounds, no arena.
    If you die in rvr you`ll loose items, if your realm loose a territory all buildings on it will be burned or salvaged for mats :smiley:

    Smooth is ( for me ) at least 30 fps and a ping ~ 150-200.
    And that with at least 100 ppl in the same area...fighting.

    Lag fix is in the patch notes didnt you read? More ppl that leave due to bad design decisions less lag...there done.

    You do realise fixing lag isn't a simple tweak they can make and roll out in the next patch?

    Of course it's not. But most people did not experience lag until 1.2.3 hit. With a "small" tweak they did manage to ruin the experience. And since that it only became worse. Yesterday was a nice powerpoint presentation in cyrodill.

    I understand people are fed up and want to see it fixed. It might not be easy, but for people who only play PvP it is number one priority.

    And as it might not be a simple tweak, they had almost 1.5 years now to look at it. And all they did was removing deer, torchbugs and some other Band-Aid that didn't work.

    Edit: did not read patchnotes correctly because they are many. Post below here shows they are working on it as an ongoing progress

    • Made many server-side changes to improve Cyrodiil performance during large combat situations. This is an ongoing work in progress.

    It all depends on the comp and could it handle it, or the consoles they are probably having the most problems with the lag not something they can fix easy, either.
    They would have to work with mircosoft and sony with the consoles.
    A lot of what I see and the changes they made most likely will help a lot with the lag, but if your comp can't handle it then it will be laggy and bad fps.

    Maybe by limiting groups in cyridill, to only be twelve per group, would possibly help a lot.
    only fifteen seige weapons on forts.
    Because I do think the zergs and the grouping and what they said the client side calculations.
    are the problem, its the main cause.
    They had to put most of the calculations client side because of the major bot problem and the expoiting going on under the map. They won't undo the anti bot measures because they were much needed. Also killing the game because of the spam in zone chat, which was killed off completely by the measures they took and the delete limit which was much needed to curb and defeat them.

    Less people playing = less money

    It lags even on high end systems, and it lags if you play with all settings on minimum.

    It`s a MMORPG, not a Singleplayer with an 12 ppl lan-option. :smiley:

    so basicly destroying the siege warfare it was designed to be. and before you start servers can't handle that pressure i had to disagree. when this game first launched it actually could so there must be a sollution to the lagg there is now. i'm no software designer/programmer but that is symple logics for me. just look up old pvp video's of PvP how large those groups where. they were larger then the largest zerg groups we see today

    I suspect the alliance war abilities "adjustments" will have a huge affect on lag, and in a good way.

    Barrier, purge and rapid maneuvers only affecting 6 players instead of hitting everyone is a big thing imo.
