There has been a lot of talk about how magicka DK is now going to be an extremely good class, and I just wanted to point out the reason that people are saying this, and caution against an early call for nerfs:
Magicka DK has always been good at duels (which is what most people are doing to test PvP builds right now). The changes to this class have given them back a little bit of the "stand your ground" feeling, which makes them excel at 1v1s. I would just like to remind everyone that this playstyle does not translate to open world, and the escape mechanics of magicka DK have not changed significantly. They are still a relatively slow class, and I expect them to be trampled a fair deal in larger fights as they already do.
I just hope that everyone takes a holistic approach to class evaluation before they start calling for nerfs. While we may lose a 1v1 standing toe-to-to with DK DoTs, remember that a stamina class can run circles around them, a templar laughs as they purify damage, and a magicka DK caught in an open field can't even reflect the 3 incoming meteors that signal his/her doom.
mDK will rise again.
Rebuild Necromancer pet AI.
