Warrior's Fury set

Just the kind of heavy armour set I've been waiting for. But I think it relies too much on getting hit by enemies to gain a benefit, getting crit 20 times to gain the max effect. I think thats a bit too much.

I suggest something like this:

Warrior's Fury - When you DEAL critical damage, your weapon damage is increased by 28 for 6 seconds. This effect can stack up to 20 times.

This way its more about your own performance that will work with the set rather than how often your enemy crits you, plus it still stacks 20 times so there's a build up time before reaching full potential.
Added benefit of also being useful in PvE along with PvP.

Heavy armor wearer isn't supposed to be dealing high % critical chance though, they should be soaking all the crits that aren't hitting their friends.

It's quite as it should be considering it's heavy. It's also about your performance as it is, your ability to draw the attention of the people around you and actually tank mobs as intended. Jump in the middle of the bunch, get smacked a bunch of times then hulk smash the entire group.

Sounds like a perfect match up to the new chains that auto-pulls you to the mobs. If you put this to damage dealt then you are making a heavy armor damage dealer. To be based on damage dealt this would be medium armor
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

My tank has +40% critical strike chance and does decent damage without sacrificing defense so thats not really a problem. The set itself has max health, max stamina, weapon power and the 5 piece bonus that increases weapon power, its more of a heavy armour damage set than a tanking set.

As for chains, I use a NB not a DK so cant speak for that ability.

It might be decent in pvp as is but its useless in pve. In pvp it has a fairly long build up time to reach its max potential while your enemy doesnt have that build up time, in pve you dont get crit enough for it to be used.
Wearing this armour you'll want to do more damage than tanking and to make it effective you'll have to get hit by several people all critting you. You'd be dead before you could use it to its full potential.

Could have it to getting hit and add a 1 second cooldown to how often it can proc. Its a middle ground. You still need to be hit but you don't have to rely on the enemy critting you 20 times first. Plus it allows it to be used in pve.

So then its completely useless in pve.. sad.

Please @ZOS_GinaBruno, help me change it to on hit instead of on crit so it can be used in both pvp and pve. I've been waiting for a set like this for ages.

I can agree, make this on hit. This change makes it a good set, that can be useful in pvp and pve.

Agreed, took one look at the 5-piece set bonus realize that it was so very incredibly niche that it was barely useful. The only possible idea I could figure was that you could be very defensive and tank the other players dmg until your dmg is high and then unload and hope to burst them down. The issue is it relying entirely on crit and lasting 6 secs. If I knew someone was wearing this set then I could simply play defensively for 6 secs until the buff expires.
