And the "better" pieces with the most desirable traits will start rotating in around... week 48 of 2017 or so then?

Price too low. Needs Helmets. 41 vWGT runs, 0 masks. I will pay 5M gold for Infused/Divine Kena mask at this point.

This vendor should help mitigate rng for a exorbitant price. It should not be an alternative to doing daily pledges.

1 shoulder 1 time per week only infused on shoulder. i think the price is cheap but the wait is real. and im glad the price is cheap. i assume helms will cost more as they are harder to get. lets wait and see

i assume though it might be say well fitted malabeth next week in every armour weight

Yeah, when you do the math, with random set and random traid every week, it could actually take couple of years for specific combination to appear. Better not rely on this vendor only. haha.

I actually think it should, and you'd be probably faster with the dungeons anyway. Unless you get lucky and the set with the desired trait is for sale.

Where did you find the vendor? I was in high rock gate last night looking every where for him on PTS.

Also I tried out that mephala set as a magicka sorc thinking this in conjunction with winterborn and wall of elements and maelstrom ice staff would be a fun play style. The web it applies is stationary on the ground, it doesn't "stick" to your target so much like the nerien'eth set, any good PvP player will just roll away from it.

wow only 200k ap? even i have that and i consider myself a pretty normal pvper. Also i do not understand all these people wanting to raise the price 3x as much pvp is *** as it is right now. Can't imagine getting 600k ap i would just pull my hair out from all the lag before i even reach it.

This vendor was a great idea but zos has gone the wrong way with it. No helms? Specific times? Ugh its like that crap destiny vendor system.

I've gotten loads of undaunted gear from the silver chests, but i'm assuming people are talking about getting purps form the gold chest to be difficult...

It's cheap, that much is for sure, but you still have to wait to get the items you want and they come in infused. Leave it as it is and make the ones that drop from dungeons BoE. That way, PVErs can sell the other traits to players if they want to and actually get something out of it.
Considering the new motif is only found in Cyrodiil and IC, PVPers could even trade AP or motifs for the sets PVErs drop if they preferred. It'd be a pretty nice boost to the economy, if ZOS even cares about that any more.

These items should be on auction for one hour every X hours.

The highest bidder after the vendor closes the auction takes the helmet/shoulder home.

This would limit the number of monster pieces generated to... somewhere around 150 for that particular week (trait), 50 of each weight.

In that case, I wouldn't mind the set pieces having those prices (as a starting point).

People already point out that they would be willing to pay 5mil gold for a right trait and weight, so let's give them an opportunity.

All this complaining and "I ran a dungeon 1000 times so make it hard for everyone else" nonsense.
Grow up already, gear comes and goes, what is valuable one day is made redundant or cheap another due to expansions/DLC's/changes. It is common in almost any MMO.
I also spent countless months to get vigor on my stamina NB back in the day and recently they changed to one of the first/easiest skills to get because people QQ'd. Did you see me and others come moaning? Nah.
So why do you? Entitlement much? Just because you have nothing to do in your life but grind dungeons doesn't mean everybody will.
Gear and skills change, requirements and values too. Get used to the fact that this a MMO and these kind of changes are just one of many.
