With the Templar adjustments and the other game mechanical changes, I'm liking what I'm seeing. Not sure what all the doom and gloom over BoL is, mostly used that when I was feeling lazy personally.

    Reroll?

    No.

Try replace ESO entirely. To be fair, though, I haven't played in weeks and don't care to. I still like to see what's going on with the forums and what atrocities are being introduced instead of real MMO stuff.

Nah, my main has been my Templar since pre-release.

I can't make a solid judgment until I actually play the game after the next release, but my enthusiasm is waning.

Worst case scenario, if I'm still playing ESO, my Templars become daily crafting muppets.

I've got a maxed out character in each class so I can play any way I want.

That said, my main is a stamplar and to me she is the most fun to play. More challenging yes, but I prefer to go the harder road that forces me grow as a player. ;)

No way. We who play templars have come to grips with the fact that we are the underdog, always have been, seems we always will be. We have rolled with being nerfed in every single update ever given to us by ZOS. We will adapt.

We know ZOS has it out for us, and we laugh at them and say "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive!"

I won't delete my VR16 Templar, but I have 3 other VR16 toons I can play, one of each class. I "Main" on my Templar. Perhaps I will spend some time on my Alts.

Considering the ongoing Templar nerfs, I finally would reroll now.
I refused so long to do this, but enough is enough.

However, I simply cannot invest months again for a character to
    - collect all sky shards
    - collect all mage books
    - collect all guild skills
    - collect all AW skills
    etc.

Because the Templar class is not at all what it used to be,
ZOS, please grant us Templars a free class change
where we can keep all our points and achievements.

Better a swift change than a grind nightmare or quitting the game.

Yep, it's just the other members of the group that have to worry about survival. :D

I figure the DPS classes will either learn to play by using their own class abilities to increase their survival rate instead of just going all out on DPS, or they will die a lot and whine for healing improvements. Either way, we can just play the hand we have been dealt to the best of our abilities.

I have a VR16 DK, VR16Temp, VR16 NB, and 2 VR16 Sorcs. Could roll another VR16 but why? I am all for tweaks and buffs for Templars, but mostly people seem upset about BoL and make it sound worse than it is. The real issue for Templar healing is that ZOS can't seem to see the reason why few players want Healing Ritual & morphs or Honor the Dead. Breath of Life shouldn't have to carry the whole Templar healing skill line.

I do not think that ZOS hates Templars.
ZOS just seems to like the other classes more - like their customers do.
btw: ZOS also changed the overall tone of the game according to a male audience

I talked about this with female players lately. ESO was like TES an open, role playing game where people could play the way the like. Since mid 2015, we see a transition to a darker, criminal style with a ganking DLC, a thieves DLC and next a hitman DLC.

This way it looks like ESO is becoming a kind of TES GTA.
With all that criminal DLC, I hardly can continue this game as a role player and Templar healer.

It is probably time to give up now, accept the reality and become a dark Sorc or NB.
ZOS could facilitate the change to the dark ages with a class change, please.

My main has been a templar healer since release. She has over 14.5k achievement points. I'm very sad with the news of templar healer nerfs. Not sure what I'll be doing but I do have a toon of each class. Guess I'll start playing them more? Probably going to stop paying for the sub that I've been paying for since launch as well.

I'm just not sure why ZOS hates my class so much.

well they added the new DLC's because of demand. the first "DLC" craglorn (if you can even call it a DLC) wasn't as dark. same with wrothgar that one is not as dark and looks like it was writen for a 6 year old audiance. i must admit i prefer the darker storylines like in rivenspire and shadowfen.so i disagree with you but i get your point :)

Yeah before I reroll and literally do not play my templar, I'll just leave the game.

No guarantee the same won't happen to other classes.

Happened to DK. Happening to Templar.

After the IC update I respecced to Stamplar, so these changes don't bother me much. If I were still a healer I would be pretty upset.

Regardless, I will probably park him to focus on my DK again. She has been ignored for a while, so I'm excited to test out those changes.
