I understand your complaint if one could purchase gold using real money (I for one would absolutely buy it! yay having a career) but since you cannot purchase gold that means you still have to somehow 'grind it out'.
This is simply a different means to the same end. Those of us who cannot spend 6 hours in a dungeon can save up the gold over a few months with a goal in mind.

you can get 100k gold EASILY in one day from stealing

so you want the DLC's to be necesary to be on par. you know that's a P2W mechanic right

Limiting gear to DLC is pay to win. The only benefit players should get from DLC is access to new areas/dungeons. THAT'S fair. Everyone should be on a level playing field...Besides, grinding AP is MUCHHHH harder (if your're bad) than doing those lame dungeons no one cares about.

Yeah you do that much money stealing and selling items to fences right now but I wonder how much you will get with the new dlc.
