You know what's not fair? Going to college and making less money than before you went. Now, you just have a nice chunk of change to pay back the government for your efforts.

This? Eh. It happens. Just like "limited time only" doesn't mean it will never be back.

LOL yeah they'll have to buy it with crowns instead xD

Also, Many of us have spent HOURS farming the others before IC existed, but that seems to be perfectly OK?

I could see it not being fair to people who didn't buy the DLC, but as for all your hours - I understand and feel for you having been there done that - but no one cares. :(

I actually don't mind this as, after having done a few hundred runs on vwgt on multiple toons, I've still to get a single head piece. I've not even had a well fitted one so at least now I'll at least be able to acquire one and test it out.

You know whats not fair? You had the opportunity to get this gear by grinding before I had the opportunity to purchase it.

I had to grind out something called a 'job' in 'real life' to get the 'experience' I need to 'purchase' this goods.

So not fair, I wish I could spend the hours grinding away to get the gear you have, but I guess I will take the opportunity to you know, eat and things, instead.

Not fair is you have the hours available to grind out the hundreds and hundreds of hours needed to get some piece of gear while I have to work all day.

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

The sets will still be crazy expensive and unattainable for vast majority of players. A few hundred thousand AP points may be nothing to OP but majority of players take weeks to amass that much. Same goes for gold.

I understand your complaint if one could purchase gold using real money (I for one would absolutely buy it! yay having a career) but since you cannot purchase gold that means you still have to somehow 'grind it out'.

This is simply a different means to the same end. Those of us who cannot spend 6 hours in a dungeon can save up the gold over a few months with a goal in mind.

I don't get it. The way gear always works in games like this is that the new gear is both above the power curve, and exclusive for a limited amount of time. After that, new gear comes out that shifts the power curve, and easier avenues to get the previously "bleeding edge" gear are introduced. If you got the set by now, you rode the OP wave. A new wave is coming.

Limiting gear to DLC is pay to win. The only benefit players should get from DLC is access to new areas/dungeons. THAT'S fair. Everyone should be on a level playing field...Besides, grinding AP is MUCHHHH harder (if your're bad) than doing those lame dungeons no one cares about.

probably just the same. i see no reason for ZoS to increase this. and you don't farm 150 blue items that fast though. will take you some hours

Its a MMO , this is how things work, The best gear today is tomorrows poor mans gear, new expansions bring out new and better gear for harder mobs and group dungeons/raids etc etc etc etc......... has always been this way, not sure why some are surprised.

This gear will take up space in players banks or on alts to use for laughs at some point.

The vendor does not sell head pieces, only shoulders. You can get those without buying the DLC by doing daily normal and veteran dungeons.

Omg dude, so what if someone didnt buy DLC almost a year old. You must be a very greedy person. And yea Blood Spawn, Engi Guardian and Nerieneth must also be excluded because i spent days farming them, so they cant possibly put that on sale to. Jeez...

They should only allow to buy monster headpieces, because those are the _farmable_ stuff. If they want to make dungeon-delving not a grinding method (and it seems, they want), then they should let players buy the helms, and to get the shoulders by the original method, a.k.a. daily pledges. In this case they would help those players, who don't have time for farming, but they wouldn't make those (this much) angry, who obtained the helms earlier. And ofc, the price of the helms should start at 500k AP/250k gold.

Thats RNG, thats what makes it feel so good when you finally get it, thats what makes the game worth playing, I had to do WGT at least 30 times before my helm...and thats what got me playing the content.....

When did scaling and easier CP-grind becoming fair? Things like this happen in MMORPGs all the time. I dont simply understand how people value Monster Set items so much, when they lost a ton with CP-system.
