Just fine. These changes were necessary.
Everyone's to quick to jump on the stamina nb build's are useless bandwagon. Has anyone even fought a stamina nightblade with the Eternal Hunt Set yet?

What about the new manifestation of terror rework?

Can you imagine how fun it would be to kite an enemy into fear's and rune's from your set all while being on a set of caltrop's. This is gonna be fun kiting your enemy around into this stuff.

So much testing to do also... Just chill people.

Since there were only bad changes to stamina users and no improvements to stamina sorcerers, I'm going to say my motivation to continue to play will continue to decline as it has over the last few weeks.

In the patch notes I believe I read that in the Assault and Support lines, thay greatly reduced the amount of ap needed to rank up. Elsewhere in the notes they said they doubled the amount of ap a player kill is worth.

You stamina users are going to more easily get caltrops and vigor.

I think the flat physical resistance in the CP tree was a bad move, honestly. I also don't like how they've grouped everything into single stars, because this just promotes laziness. Why spread my CPs out to create a unique build when I can just dump everything in X?
This is really stupid. Contemplating going magicka, or just uninstalling. It's still only on the PTS, so I'll wait and see.

Cloak doesnt remove dots so things will get though for stam NBs, especially for me as vamp.
Steel Tornado radius is nerfed and players can get more phyisical resist from CPs.

Purge will affect less players and it will be needed more in groups with these buffed sieges.

My Bosmer NB will probably be respecced to magicka build.

Overall these changes will be good for the game in the long run, especially for PvP IMHO. There's always room for further tweaking and adjustments down the road so if it's too much it won't be the end of the world. My Magicka DK feels pretty good about these changes, and my Stam DK... well I'll learn to adjust. I think the main issue is not so much with these changes but is still the no stamina regen during blocking to top it off all off. For tanks, that always felt a bit extreme. I can see the necessity but would prefer a moderate stamina regen debuff while blocking instead of zero regen at all.

That's exactly what I'm doing. The reason is mainly I want to complete some PvE achievments, which is easier on magicka, but I see this is the best time to switch.

Reading through the patchnotes, I don't really see an issue? I would even argue that Stamina Nightblades who uses Shadowy Disguise, instead of Dark Cloak, actually got a buff in this regard.

I'm not too fussed, I'm quite liking the changes thus far.

Doors this mean we now all go magic sorc since before you had generally 2 tips of magic sorcerer, those that did great elemental damage and average frags or those that did average elemental damage and massive frags. Now those have been combined into specs that do great elemental damage with massive frags!

Could be worse, the last set of nerfs was worse (block/roll dodge and so on).

I just wish they'd come up with some sets of stamina/weapon users that were half as interesting as the Vicious Death set - they don't have to be powerful just good enough that I don't look at them and shrug. Maybe the Alkosh set but that'll be a git to get with RNG hate, not to mention actually beating the trial if it is as hard as they claim.

Copypaste of my Comment on CP changes:

Very Concerned about Championsystem I really hope you are going to take a look:

So you made it so Elemental Expert basically increases all Magicka based damage now. This is really good for Magicka builds.

    BUT

Stamina builds that have different sources of damage don't get anything. A Stamina DK gains a lot of his damage from Fire Damage. And he still needs to split points between Mighty and Elemental Expert. A Stamina Nightblade will have similar issues because of the Magic Damage he does. To me it sounded like they wanted exactly this to be gone. Apparently only in favor of Magicka builds.

    They should have just made:

Elemental Expert: Increases all Magicka based Damage
Mighty: Increases all Stamina based Damage

Both Stamina and Magicka builds need Thaumaturge.
Both Stamina and Magicka builds need Penetration
Both Stamina and Magicka builds need Critical Damage
Both Stamina and Magicka builds need Elemental Expert
    Stamina builds need Mighty
Magicka builds do NOT need Mighty because they don't do any Physical Damage.

So to increase DPS Magicka builds need 4 different passives.
and Stamina builds need 5 different passives.

im just happy to be able to finally pwn people as a stam nightblade without people crying on forums for nerfs.

in 1.2 i made my first char, a stamina NB...needless to say they were so bad until we finally got stamina morphs...then they somehow went into OP teritorry..

PPL ACTUALLY cried that stam, NB's are spamming cloack looool...

Some changes I am good with, other its ohwell:

    - Adding physical resist to CP......I don't have a problem with this because Azura's and BWB are going to be CP free campaigns

    - Stam nightblade needed some of these changes, but they were a little overboard. I agree with the change to siphoning strikes as it did proc to much with caltrops, but I think the nerf was a little to much. This skill allowed NB tanks to be almost inline with DK tanks as we give up a little of survivability to have better resource management! Now its engine guardian or gtfo.

    - Stam DK's are going to be in a nice place with the CP changes by adding poison dmg to mighty and making Thaumaturge affect damage over time. A dot heavy stam DK is going to be pretty powerful.

    - Stampler looks like it will be in a nice place given some of the changes. Still no mobility, but the change to Puncturing Strikes was much needed in PVP and PVE.

    - Stam Sorc - we are still in the same place, a pure weapons build running bound armorments and lightning form. One change I did find in testing the PTS is that rapid strikes with CP split between Thaumaturge and Mighty gives better dmg as a main spam than wrecking blow. I get better dps out of a Bow/DW Dot build with Valkyn Skoria, then I do with the traditional wrecking blow + rearming trap build. This is going to hurt stam sorc survivability in end-game PVE since crit surge does not proc on rapid strikes! Caltrops with lightning form + arrow barrage +poison injection + rendering slashes with rapid strikes/heavy weave for single target and caltrops + arrow barrage and steel tornado for AOE make for great dp combos with valkyn skoria proc.

    - So, all-in-all, still looks like magicka will have the upperhand in PVE and stam will still make the best burst/gank builds in PVP. Stam temp and Stam DK look to be in the best spots after this patch (aside from still lacking mobility). Stam NB was pretty balanced and only needed minor tweaks, not complete overkill of certain skills. Stam sorc, yeah we still are at the bottom of the barrel!

The changes to stamina builds aren't quite that crippling on paper. Haven't been on the PTS to see how they actually perform yet. I feel as though most people that have commented in this thread haven't yet either.

I do believe that the lack of stamina class skills for all classes other than NB is still a huge issue. Causing any stamina build, other than NBs, into using a 2H or S&B for single target melee damage.

Also would have liked to see CC immunity revisited in this patch, from a PvP perspective. Whether it's lag, or poor coding, getting CC'd twice in a row - after you break the first one - is an issue. Cannot count how many times I've been knocked up in the air from a WB while having CC immunity active. Things like that can make or break a fight.

Can't give a full hearted opinion towards anything until a good amount of testing is done. Yet I do believe, according to the paper changes, both stamina and magicka builds will be on a similar level again.
