Will it be 300 again 501 or somewhere in between?
Why only 300? Every end-game guild that wants to test has capped characters so why not let us just recreate our own characters? Testing is useless as our builds are predicated around our CP numbers. Just, why? Anyone that doesn't have 300 CP or above can just spend less.
There is a whole thread on the things templates need to have to make testing in any way meaningful, have any been implemented?
It's probably because new trial is made to be doable with 300CP. Playing with characters with 501CP won't give them necessary data.

Majority of player base still aren't at cap. If balancing were made around people who have 501CP it would be nearly impossible for peeps with lesser CP. And if peeps 300CP complete in first days of PTS then it wouldn't be much challenge for peeps with max CP. It's a test server not a training ground.
It used to 3600 on the PTS, how it was to ever experience running around with a godlike character of 3600 CP....the memories.PhatGrimReaper wrote: »Paulington wrote: »ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Not yet, we'll know the exact size tomorrow.Paulington wrote: »So @ZOS_GinaBruno any rough idea on download size for PC?Templates will have 300 Champion Points.Any notice on the champ point level of templates for all in EU?

so much this..... most people that will seriously test this stuff will have more than 300 CP and are most likely above cap..... limiting templates to 300 is pointless.

@anitajoneb17_ESO What did they change there? I remember something, but not the specifics.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »'Test server'. It's not like they change anything that's ever been complained about on a PTS.
Wrong.
They do change stuff based on feedback.
Of course, reasonable and constructive feedback, not rants suggesting to change the entire design of the game.
Example : requirements of level 10 crafting writs that came with Orsinium DLC.

One thing they definitely did change from PTS feedback was allowing you to pick up the Imperial City intro quest from the sewer base.
There are still at least three things they haven't changed from PTS feedback though:
- There's a typo in the Imperial City in-game tutorial guide which has the EP and DC captains named the wrong way around.
- The map of Imperial City is still at the wrong angle.
- Stuga, the Orc who gives you the Orsinium intro quest, should appear in every safe city, not just the starter cities (like the Prophet, Vanus Galerion, and Shalidor all do for their related quests).
Heh fair enough. Bera Moorsmith (the Fighters Guild courier) would be a better example then; she always knows where you are too. Consider also the nameless Skyrim Courier, who delivers new side quests to you when the correct conditions are met, when you are in any of the safe towns or cities. The point is, couriers exist to find you, wherever you are; you shouldn't have to go to a certain location to find them, like you currently have to with Stuga. As it stands right now, Stuga is basically useless, as she usually turns up right next to the Ambassador. You could theoretically therefore just go straight to the Ambassador, since you're there anyway (except that she won't offer the quest directly).anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »@anitajoneb17_ESO What did they change there? I don't remember the exact figures either, iirc the original requirements for level 10 writs were 3x VR15 items, which made writs not only useless to do but rightout a mistake, as compared to the money you could make (and still can make) out of the mats on the guild stores' markets. They reduced the requirements to 1x VR15 item + the rest as VR9 items. That was the correct balance so that writs were still worth doing.
Typos, yes, I reported those too, in french it's just plain horrible, but let's say it's not gamebreaking (though I hate them). I can't understand why they don't fix it, it's easy.
Same applies to the map IMHO, annoying but we can live with it.
Your last point is IMHO debatable. The prophet, Vanus Galerion and Shalidor are all high-talented wizards who can know where you are and teleport to you using magic, I can't see how a random orc courier should be able to do the same...
@ZOS_GinaBruno I suck at PTS but can NA make templates straight up?
also why isnt the base champion points at cp cap?

Honestly it's better (for EU anyway) that NA get theirs first. The first week or so is usually buggy and then we get our characters for the rest of the quarter until Dark Brotherhood PTS.
