Okay, so this dude I play with, he's DPS, I always knew his damage was less than stellar but I dealt with it because he's my buddy.
The other day, I noticed this *** guy is wearing SEVEN pieces heavy armour! He's a stamina build! DPS! HEAVY ARMOUR! He won't even do 5 heavy 2 medium. We spend all our time debating it now and it sucks lol.
Normally I would say to each his own but in this case we rely on each other most times (especially in the sewers because I don't like big groups down there) so his DPS has to be up there while I handle support in gank situations.
Do any of you know of someone doing the same thing successfully? Is he dumb or am I lol
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

He did not ise frags or bound or inner light... just used liquid, surge, endless, rapid and steel tornado...

Because you obviously didnt read that part
There really is no point in going full heavy as DPS, not even for looks. You can achieve a heavy armor look with 5 or even just 2 pieces, or a costume. Did your friend explain why he chose full heavy?
If you are smart you will let yr friend enjoy HIS game the way he wants to before you dnt have any buddies to play with.
Worry more about yr character and not other peoples.
@Thorn416
I don't know why you're not answering my questions. I'm not trying to troll, I'm not trying to bait, I'd really like to know the answers so that I can make an educated response.
How does it affect your gameplay? Does it take too long to kill things? Do you and your friend die repeatedly? Is it just a min/max issue?
He won't give a reason (good or bad) why he chooses to wear nothing but heavy armor?

Yes I did read it all. My point still stands. You can inform him of all the pros/cons Whether it be pvp or pve, a tank or dps. But no matter what it still remains his toon and hes going to do what he likes. If I had a friend that bugged me constantly on how to play I wouldnt be a friend to him. A friend wouldnt come to the forums to tell everyone his friend sucks if they only play together all the time. To me thats not being a friend to him. Thats being an a**hole.
Craft him some stuff and ask him to try it (nicely) and see if it helps you both. If he doesnt agree. Try adding a 3rd person to your group for more dps and leave him be. The only way he will get better is trying stuff out on his own. He will either see the light or he wont. Its his choice and will remain his choice, doesnt mean you'll agree with it.
