screw immersion, give me the option to see buff / debuff timers! (console)

As a 2hand user, i use WB, Rally, unstable flame, green DB, Flex wings,

now DB is fine, because it is so unique in the buff that you can see when it goes away, as such with others like spiked armor.
but i can never tell if my rally is up, because both that and WB make my health bar glow gold. so i often do not have rally up during a boss fight, lowering my dps
further lowering my dps, i use unstable flame, and never to to reapply it. This is a huge problem, as the damage increases every 2 seconds, so if i use it too early i lose a high damage tick. i would love if i had an option on console to see buff timers on myself and debuff timers on enemies. it gives an unfair advantage to pc players to be honest, because they have addons to tell them when to reapply debuffs and buffs

Not an advantage if all PC players have these addons. Secondly, is there not an effect for the buff/dmg going off? I thought there were effects for each buff but stacking multiple can get confusing. Debuffs, I don't think you can really tell other than learn a rotation where you weave them in.

rally - you have a slightly red tint on your character, but in a battle where you have many things to focus on, there isnt much a time to view that. WB- not sure
Unstable flame - yes the enemy has some fire on him, but it disappears sometimes, but wouldnt matter anyway cause everyone is debuffing him

I have to agree with this sentiment and the way you expressed it. At first, when I started playing, I thought I wanted an immersive experience. Then I tried an add-on (I'm on a PC) and it made a world of difference.

Now I simply can't imagine fighting without these kind of timers. And they can satisfy the immersionists by setting the timers to a toggle.

Since you're not playing console vs PC there's no advantage to anyone.

I agree tho and frankly, we want the same on PC. Addon authors aren't going to stay in the game forever plus, since addons seem to cause performance issues at times, I'd rather the info was part of the game instead of third party.

We know some of it is coming, I just hope ZOS includes All of the important ones sometime soon.

Breaking immersion is having to constantly check on my pc screen where the next skyshard or lorebook is, my eyes would never leave the game if I had them on the map. But yeah buff/de-buff timers are needed on console, when I have boundless storm activated I can't tell if my power surge or crystal frag is up, aswell as having to keep track of where the boss is and how much health it has, what crap is on the floor, where the adds are, when my potion runs out etc...while I love the game, I'm a noob when it comes to mmo's.

Also, text chat and the ability to send everyone in your guild a message, I struggle to find people for dailies, yet am in 3 guilds with over 400 people in. I'm not prepared to send everyone an individual message for them to not reply or say no. You can't say I don't want it blah blah....it'll be an option, you wanna use it, you toggle it on, you don't wanna use it, you toggle it off, options are good for everyone, they're what we need!

There used to be bars in the PS4 UI showing buffs from potions and for some reason they decided to remove them. Personally I hate having to navigate to my character screen just to see if my potion is still active. Especially if you get attacked while doing it. Please put the bars back.

potions last 47 seconds (maximum at V15/all passives) and have a cooldown of 45 seconds, so you can just use them on cooldown if you wnt your buffs 24/7.

But anyways, would be great to have an ingame-bufftracker for console (and pc aswell). :)

Think he meant food. Love going into battle to find out your health is 5k lower than you thought.

I personally feel the buff/debuff timers and ultimate timers get too much into the realm of "the game playing itself". I think part of the experience is being self aware enough to keep your buffs up.

But that is just me. I know that many want this option. Even if it's added... I'll never use 'em.

Try to keep this up without any timers etc in a 12-man trial where all your teammates are on the same position. You won't see anything of the effects. And IF you see one, you won't know if it's your own effect or from someone else
If you could activate buff/debuftrackers it wouldn't hurt anyones immersion, but would be great for everyone who wants that.

What if someone wants an "autobuff" feature too? A slot that you put your food or drink in and when you run out of a buff it automatically consumes from that slot? Would that be acceptable?

Don't know what an autobuff-function has to do with a bufftracker...PC-Users alerady have bufftrackers when using addons, why not give something similar to console-players?

I agree, the effects are not near strong enough on console to know we to buff back up. Having buff and de-buff timers is my number one hope for this game
