While ESO did some things really well - combat, story etc. - some of the basics like inventory management are just tragically bad. Worst I've ever seen. Now they're finally considering a sensible solution but want to restrict it to subbers?

No I definitely would not sub just for a temporary fix to this stupid problem. And it is temporary because once you unsub the problem returns.

I might come back and play again and pay a one-off fee for a fix to this stupid problem. Though even that would be galling - having to pay your way past crappy game design.

The best solution would be as in Guild Wars 2. Everyone could get some crafting storage. You can pay to expand that storage (up to a limit). And maybe subscribers could get a bit more storage on top of that.

I'd be fine with them selling limited crafting bags in the crown store (say an extra 100-200 slots) as long as subs get to keep the infinite sized ones.

I hope they do this for ESO+ only. If you do unsub you will still get access to the bag to withdrawal things out, but you will not be able to add to the bag.

You can use all of the materials that are in your bank when you are crafting. You don't have to have the materials in your character's inventory.

They're adding something to the base game which is beneficial (yet not game-breaking or pay-to-win) to essentially "thank" or incentivize those who are wiling to sub £9 p/m to keep paying.

I don't see how you can be unhappy or aggrieved about this. There's adequate ways to increase your space by both legitimate means (pay for upgrades through Gold or Crowns) and manipulation (create alts simply to hold items). Whilst the current system is clunky and needs some work, it's still manageable.

If you want the unlimited material bag space: pay £9 p/m. If you don't: carry on as you are - your game will not be negatively affected.

I'm sure this will be a crown store option for those who are not subbed, but I'm glad they're adding small incentives like this for us ESO+ members.

This would be cool. I'm a hoarder: maxed out crafter slots, bank slots, plus two mules for crafting mats. And 1 character to hold unique / useful set pieces.

It would be a great thing to boost ESO+ sales. A limited version in the Crown Store would be nice, but I wouldn't expect it.
