Question regarding changing from 1 month ESO+ to 3 or 6 month ESO

Hi everyone

I am currently one week into a single months ESO (price £8.99), I am thinking about upgrading that to a three or possibly six month subscription...I have a couple of questions...

Subscription
When I upgrade, what happens to the other three weeks of the one month ESO? Is the three/six month tacked onto the end or does it overwrite it?

For example...if I bought ESO+ 1 month on 15th Jan and buy the upgrade now, does:
The 3 month subscription start today and needs upgrading on 31st April
Or
Does it wait until 14th Feb to start and then need renewing on 15th May?

Crowns
If it's the later, do I receive all the crowns right now, or when that new sub starts?

I'm very confused over this so any clarification would be appreciated!

Current subscription intervals always expire before the newly chosen interval begins, i.e. the 1 month sub runs its course, then the new 3 month sub sets in.
Crowns are always awarded in full amount at the beginning of a new interval.

Thanks again for this answer as well! Still waiting to hear back from them regarding the NA/EU bug, but I'm getting to the stage where I want to get the Imperial Edition and get going, hopefully if I buy it again they'll just refund the crowns for the old one.

Dunno, it's the way Sony likes to handle things on PSN, maybe? If they earn a small percentage of each transaction made, it would be better for them to have a lot of them each month, instead of a few every other, would it not? From ZOS's perspective, clearly it would be better to get a larger amount of money up front.
