Stamina Sorc Pve

Hello guys, i just got back to the game and i'd like to ask you a few questions regarding the stamina sorc:

-I just heard that this build got better and it's viable for pve, is that true?
-Which is best weapon combination: 2h/DW, 2h/bow or dw/bow? Is a mainly bow build viable in the end game or even worth going with?
-Which skills should i focus on?
-How should i distribute my champ points?

2h/dw - is the main build (dw- AoE, 2H- 1target), bow for some special bosses (like vet darkshade caverns spider).
The main idea of build = high survival melee-range DPS (full armour buff + self heal with surge + mobility&CC with streak)

PvE any stamina weapon can be made to work for general content. However the best synergy is with 2handed - surge + crit charge, rally for a hot, and wrecking blow for damage. For aoe, most go with steel tornado + surge and a high crit rating.

However some abilities don't sit well from DW: Flurry won't surge heal you, Quick cloak (the only decent Blade cloak morph) is generally worse than lightning form, and the bleeds don't work vs all mobs.

Bow works fine but none of the DoTs work with surge.

Also if you decide to Tank up, then stamina sorcerer tanking is possible - but you don't have any "oh sh£t" tools. You do have great mobility and decent armour buffs, but are heavily reliant on your healer.

As far as weapons go, I have run 2h/DW and 2h/bow, but I find 2h/bow to be superior.

With DW, you can do good AoE damage with Steel Tornado, but you are basically just spamming it.

With Bow, you can throw up Volley and then switch back to your 2H and go back to wrecking blow/weave/executioner combos (like Fengrush shows in his video). Wrecking blow has the knockdown effect, which helps a lot as well.

Take advantage of crit surge and have try to have more than 4k damage buffed and at least 55% crit rate.
I can pull better numbers(20k-30k dps) with 2h/bow however, taking out large trash mobs is a little more trickier because i dont have steel tornado.

FIrst of all, thx a lot for all the replies and for taking some time to help me out.

So as far as i understood the main weapon to go is 2h and the second one is matter of preference between dw or bow since both work out at the end game.

I guess im still gonna do some testing between bow and dw to see which one fits me better but i'm probably gonna go with the bow since it appeals me most so far.
