PC here, and yes... lag does seem more horrendous than it's been before; however, that's probably because I've been seeing 40-50 man groups more often running around spamming AoEs. Probably a coincidence, or the changes didn't do anything at all.
The lag is awful. PC EU has two campaigns that are completely unplayable during primetime and a third one coming close to the level of the other two.
But hey, we're getting a camel mount. Everything's fine.

What does camel have to do with the lag?
Or do you want the guy who designed the camel to fix the PVP lag?
It's not only lag in Cyrodiil. It also lag in PvE map. FPS become very low in some place.
There is no low FPS before last patch. I hope ZOS can fix it asap.

I think he's saying instead of paying a guy to design a camel, pay a guy to work on the lag.

But they are paying a guy to fix the lag. Its questionable if replacing an art guy, that would work on more than just a camel but also quite a lot of what you see in the game, with another guy working on server stability/abilities would actually get rid of lag any faster. Its not a question of having more people on it as much as being such a complex layered issue that you can only work one layer at a time.
And considering when it comes to profitability. The art guy is a bigger asset. Since his work can and will drive sales so that the lag guy can continue to get paid to fix the lag. So the notion that getting rid of the art guy just so lag can get fixed is just down right short sighted.
You guys must have gotten the update we got like 3 weeks ago. That update produced the worst lag I've seen yet.

Maybe it just needs appeasement of some kind ?

Not sure how PC and XB1 are going, but on PS4 the latest patch that changed the tick rates of certain aoe abilities seems to have done nothing to better performance in Cyrodiil. The lag was severe and rendered the game all but unplayable. The worst of it was there was only about 20 - 30 players in the area at any given time - most of the group I was in left to do other things. Makes me wonder if this is even possible to fix or even improve. So like the removal of deer, this latest assault in the war on lag is proving to be ineffective.
