Why would anything happen to them? You'll still be able to go to the cadwell gold and silver zones if you want to.
All the skyshards over all the maps.
Lorebooks.
Gold necessary to win doing quests.
Achievements.
Etc.

You will now earn the extra attribute/skill points while leveling up from 1-50. Here's a quick chart to help explain it better
Level - Bonus Attribute/Skill Points
5 - 1
10 - 2
15 - 1
20 - 2
25 - 1
30 - 2
35 - 1
40 - 2
45 - 1
50 - 3
Total 16
Note: This is different than what I posted in November last year. We've been iterating on the design for a bit now and this is a much more straightforward approach.

Nothing will happen to them. They will be there and you can do them or not just like now - the only difference is that there will be no Cadwell Gate...but the Cadwell's quests and achievements will still be there.

People don't want the remove of veteran lvls just because they don't like them. Is because of all the effort, lvl up, get all skyshards, etc. Everything is relationated.
If they remove them is because the people has no intention in go those areas never, so they have to give the same in another way.

No, they don't. Dipping into specific areas because you want to pick up a few skyshards/lorebooks is completely different to enforced completion of quest paths to enter specific zones. If you are happy to do without these items then you are free to not enter the zones. That is your choice, and ZOS is under no obligation to provide alternate routes.
Put then to Achivements and Achivements account wide. I personally hope they just remove Silver and Gold, we dont need so much content anymore, at launch tripled content was excellent idea, but when you add a few more DLC to this game, people wont do Silver and Gold anyway, because theres so much to do.

Spend resources developing 16 zones for base game. Throw 10 in the garbage. Sounds legit.

ESO was never designed to be 19 zone game, it was designed to be 5-6 zone game and its shows. I personally think overall quality of the game increase if Silver and Gold zones are removed.

I want to know what happens with our weapons and armour. Instead of its level saying VR16, it's going to say something like "Level 501 CP"? That would be weird and laughable.
Also, people who want vet ranks removed all seem to have a different reason why, and I still don't really understand any of them. One reason people complain about is the "terrible grind from Lv50 to VR16", but what they don't realise is that they are forgetting the much longer grind they will have to get to the CP cap... so they don't escape anything.
only curious how you are going to earn the last 15 atribute points
Ok I understand that. However I believe there are lots of people complaining that there's an imbalance with those who have more CPS. So I'm not referring to people who are happy with just 45 of them. I'm referring to the ones who want a chance to compete. The ones who don't have VR characters. They will surely still need to get more CPS if they want to compete even after VR is removed?NewBlacksmurf wrote: »I want to know what happens with our weapons and armour. It assumed that CP will show as a requirement but gear subject to change. To me that's dumb...keep it at level 50
Your thoughts on a grind....CP don't have to be obtained. They are optional progression so if you're the type of person who considers maxing any level progression or system as complete then this is why you don't understand.....You don't realize that many are happy with 45-75 CPs and have no desire to push higher. If it happens...great but if not....they are fine as their goal is to enjoy the game and not worry about maxing everything.
Removing VR levels and if ZOS keeps CPs as they are, offers a lot more good than you realize.
For someone who does want max everything...the item progression by mats and CPs are still there so everyone is happy and at 50, it's more likely that people can group up and not complain about dungeon scaling or weird things that aren't so clear today.

I imagine it will be tied to your champion rank tier, same as the gear. In other words, each time there is a big update that would have previously increased the level cap, instead it would increase CP cap and add the corresponding one or two attribute points.
So if 320 CP were considered equivalent to V16, for example you'd get an attribute point every 20 CP rank.

This was actually listed by ZOS in another thread. The attribute points are now suggested to be obtained during leveling 1-50
