Some people have counted the base game only, not the subs, others did the exact opposite and currency conversion ...varies, to say the least ! :-)

I dropped my subscription upon the release of Tamriel Unlimited and I never bought any Crowns. Before that I was subbed since April, 2014.

It doesn't matter. Right now you could walk to the local super market, pay £12.99 and play til the servers went offline.

Or

Like me, bought 3 copies at launch, stayed mostly subbed since launch and have a taste for crown store tri-pots.

For an mmorpg, they are not very greedy, they are like the least greediest mmo company so far. I think, Like 3000 crowns for sixty day sub, basically goes to show. They are not concerned about making money. I would say its cheaper then any perfect world game, out there and most likely swtor.

I actually recently cancelled my eso plus, in December I think. I'd been playing off and on since beta but Cyrodiil is as rough as ever unfortunately. No hate on the Devs, I love the game they made and I liked supporting it with the small $15 a month (US) contirbution, but I can't vindicate it anymore when I can't even PvP after 8pm (EST) because of lag. Still play it, just not paying for it.

Okay, well the collector's box was $100 to start. 2x 6 months subs at $78 each because that was the cheapest per month during p2p. I did one month $15 sub to try out IC. And I bought two 5500 crown packs during the 40% off sale at $24 a piece. So I bought the 2 current DLCs with enough crowns left for the next 1-2.

Total, about $319. Spread out per month, that's less than $15. I used to spend that per week buying comic books, which I stop doing to play ESO for my entertainment.

But... Why?! What possible reason do you have to play 12 accounts that doesn't involve some kind of exploit (PvP spying, multiboxing, etc)? Honest question, I'd like to know.

I pay for me and my sister to have eso so it costs me a lot
Cost of game about 200
Eso plus for 2 people since launch 8×30=240
I buy a pack of crowns once a month until black Friday that was about 300
The black Friday special when crowns had a 50 percent discount I spent about 500
So iv spent over 1000 us dollars and I don't regret any of it. This doesn't include the two 50 inch 4k ultra tvs I bought for me and my sis so we can see tamirel upscaled. Plus I upgraded my Internet to 100 mps hoping it would help with lag.
I purchased and xbox elite controller so I can had four alternative buttons to improve combat, I basically replaced the d pad with the 4 paddles so my left thumb never leaves the stick that was 130 with frys electronics discount. Eso is life!!
