    If the target is cc immune you go to them, but the skill in general is notoriously buggy ever since the z-axis nerf.

    so technically a stonefist + chain combo would be considered a gap closer?
    or talon, or petrify, or whatev cc you use?

    Unfortunately, the chains give the target CC immunity, so you can't follow with a knockdown/stun.

    I think he was arguing for a CC into a Chains as a poor man's 2-spell gap closer which is just laughable to me.

    r u a troll? this is true, so true. if sorc streak is to be considered escape, it needs to outrange gap closers

    Any decent sorc would drop mines, sit for a second, then be gone as ur stuck in mines

    Not exactly escaping is it. Besides it's not like they can't bolt infinitely either they'll be out of magicka pretty fast and simply sprinting after them with a movement boost will let you catch up.

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

    And a magicka gap closer, it's ennoying to play a mag dk with all close range skills when you don't have a gap closer and need to waste your limited stamina to get close to them.

    Well Magicka DK do have Chains but it is virtually useless in PvP. Now if they gave it the NB gap closer treatment, and root-stunned the target until our chains hit them, that would only be fair.

    We are severely broken. Too simplify it without going into detail, our skills and abilities and class design. simply no longer fit the game as it is currently. Our main source of dame is useless, our instant dps is well below sub par, our self heal is broken, we have several completely useless and unused skills, no execute, no gap closer, no ability to stand our ground unless your a straight tank in which case you just die and essentially accomplish nothing, and oh so so much more

    The reason you see some magicka Dks do amazing things is because the only magicka Dks still around are the ones that are very good at their class and how to use and essentially force it to work, and are persistent. The rest re rolled stam or a different toon all together. And even those of us still around don't have it easy.
