I've done some recent duels on my new DK. He is Bosmer DK lvl 18. I hav 415 CP. Using 3hvy 4medium hunding/morkulden s&b with bow (blue improvement)
I think battle level is awesome, but I dont like the idea that I can kill Vet players (with & without vigor) pretty easily. At lvl 18, none of my skills are maxed, I don't have any heals besides dragon blood (unmorphed), even my dk leap is unmorphed.
I am having a lot of fun in BWB, killing noobs. So I decided to take a bigger challenge and venture into Haderus. This is when I started to realize how OP battle level is. Granted, the vets I killed may have had some "L2P" issues, some of them had vigor, some of them had 10k shields. I hope this gets changed with the removal of vet ranks. I shouldn't be able to spend 5hrs on a new toon and be able to compete with people who have worked for months on theirs.
DISCLAIMER: I have only tried this on a DK

The real test for it will be when the 0 CP Campaigns are introduced. If it's still that easy for a low level battle leveled player to kill a Vet, @ZOS will need to research why their skills are so powerful.
If there's one thing I noticed, is that players on Blackwater Blade feel "tankier" than VR16s. I can snipe for days on non-vet and they'll just heal through the damage, but when it was quiet I logged onto Azuras, literally 3 hit a few VR16s on top of a keep.

so this means that im not OP?
cant believe it makes us this powerful
I don't have a problem with it.
It makes them the same as level 15.
A vr16 is still capable of a better build and better stats.
No need to be forced into grinding toons to 16 anymore. Made the game way more enjoyable

v16's may be capable of obtaining better stats, but in order to do so, they would have invest a ton in terms of gold or material farming.....as we should. I think the issue is that battle leveled players can obtain comparable stats without the investment. If you don't want to grind to v16, you should not expect to be highly competitive in veteran content. In my opinion low leveled alts in veteran campaigns should not expect to be competitive at all. Non-vet campaigns should have their place, and having battled leveled characters with insane stats may help casual players participate it vet pvp and encourage new players to continue playing, but only until they reach v16 and they are in turn killed by a low level alt because they are still in v15 blue gear.
Instead of v16 feeling like an accomplishment, it feels like a liability until one can get all of their gold gear ready. At whatever the cost to a low levels experience in vet pvp this should not be the case. Thankfully, this whole conversation will be moot when vet ranks are removed. Instead I fear the focus will once again be on CP. Hopefully opening up non-cp campaigns will limit complaining and save some form of progression in this game.

I have 4 vr16s, so I get that. All in 16 gear, all gold. I understand the grind.
I also have a vet 2, vet 3 and vet 4 and I'm bored to tears levelling as you can imagine. So battle levelling has been a god send for me.
Keep gear at your vet rank and make it purple and it's like being a vet 15 in purple. So 16 gold is quite a jump in stats.
