How do you figure DPS on console?

It feels like it takes the same amount of time for me to kill V16 mud crabs as V16 mammoths. Maybe a little longer for Giants or ogres. I have maybe 1400 weapon damage DW. Does weapon damage relate any way to your DPS? Are they two different things completely? I figure I must be on the low side of DPS, and I'm alright with that. Curious about what the numbers are for low DPS.

✭✭✭✭✭I always thought it was funny that ZoS gives you a character sheet full of numbers, but then gives you no way to see how those numbers affects your performance in practice. Your just suppose to feel it out.
Complaints aside, scrolling text is apparently coming to console (and PC, but PC already has addons for this kind of stuff) in the next 6 months, so you'll have to just wait unfortunately.
Also, weapon damage will increase the damage of skills that use stamina. Top builds that focus solely on damage will have nearly 5k+ weapon damage, while magicka builds will be somewhere around 4k+. More average builds will be around 1k less.
