I've been critical of the game lately, but only because I enjoy playing it and want to see it get better, which has been my stance all along.
Anyway, I thought it was very commendable that Matt Firor in his Road Ahead outlined a plan to improve game performance in Cyrodil. Performance issues hinder the players enjoyment in PvP and it discourages other players from joining PvP.
So good work ZOS team and keep striving for excellence. Polish the game, make it better, and it will live long.

✭It took him a year to address easily the biggest problem in the game, and you want to give him props?
50-75% of resources should be allocated to this, and solely this until it's fixed. All DLC after thieves guild should be pushed back, that's how large this issue is, and they need to do more than say they're working on it slowly.
Respect will be given when action is taken.

✭We've had basically the same kind of lip service come from several other ZOS personalities over the last 18 months. If you're bored with time on your hands try to go back and add em' up. I know it's an incredibly complicated issue and just can't be fixed overnight. But it seems we get this "I'm really concerned about Cyro performance etc. etc." like once a quarter after a dozen rage threads about lag on the forums. I've said before that I don't think they can fix it (which they will never admit to obviously) for a multitude of reasons. ✭I agree, total respect for the @ZOS team. They know that the major lag issue is on their end and are trying to fix it. I am with everyone else that the game totally sucks right now in PVP, trying to fight blueberries/strawberries when spells won't fire is just horrible.
I can't wait until they can get the updates on the PTS and I really hope they actually do a large population of PVP testing there on it. I understand that it's in no way a real world test for the production game but we can all hope it makes a difference. I really don't see people waiting 6-12 months for a fix for this. When you play both PVE and PVP, and you've done all the PVE, it's really dissaponting when you go to do the PVP and see a constant red ping over 300+ that never drops.NA Server - Kildair0 -

What did the plan outline? What steps are they planning to take? What is the applicable time frame?
I ask because I honestly don't know. I didn't watch the most recent ESO Live because I was told it gave us virtually nothing to go on.2
