Yes. Our guild has a guild only mumble so grouping with random players leaves them out in the cold.Would love to invite randoms to groups or let them join in on our guild activities but without voice chat i dont bother usually.

You're right about that "Don't care" option. I'll just use TS or Discord. Most people would have some form of voice chat already installed.

This is generally where I stand, but I don't think it would hurt for casual PUGs or to communicate with area people who are not in your guild/group

If it took more than one intern spending more than an hour to implement, then it would be wasted effort as there are plenty of existing and managed solutions available for us to use on PC.

Let the developers focus on delivering new content for the game, while others who are already providing voice solutions continue providing those solutions.

Not only no, but hail no.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Yeah we had a bunch of EU people come to the console servers and it's hard to understand their cheerio type of speak but I'll never use the chat box

Yes - as long as its a group chat thing and not an guild/area chat thing.

I really dislike messing around with third party programs, and having to mess with them more whenever I switched groups - but I would dust off my mic and use it if there was an chat channel you got added to as soon as you joined a group.

I would say that it is a good idea if (a) it doesn't make the client run any slower and (b) doesn't consume too much time/resources to implement. Personally, my PC has a really bad processor and running multiple programs at once makes ESO run really slowly for me. If voice chat were part of the client itself, then maybe I could voice chat without fear of my computer crashing.

Obviously, not everyone is in the same situation as me, so I understand why others might disagree. I also agree that the more glaring issues of ESO should be prioritized. However, I am not sure how much time/resources it would take to implement an integrated voice chat system. If the answer is that it would not take very much time and resources, then I would say there really is no reason not to slip it into the next patch.

    Cheers,

Why reinvent the wheel. TS does a great job and that's what most PC players use these days.

The only way I could see this as value added is if they gave us voice changing so our voices could match our characters.

Like this idea but guess it wouldn't be cost-effective.
